Ch. 13

"I didn't kill your father." Bucky told T'Challa.

Apparently they were going over what had happened.

"Then why did you run?" T'Challa asked Bucky making me smile.

"I had the urge to tell you the following." Bucky said as T'Challa nodded.

"Look, your highness, I don't know about you, but if a grown man is chasing me in a cat suit trying to kill me, I won't be standing there like 'Ah yes, sunlight.'" Bucky said making me snort.

"But Barnes is forgiven. I have to go. It was lovely visiting you Esperanza. Take care." T'Challa said as Okoye hugged me and then they left.

"I have to go to buy something." I said and grabbed my car keys.

"Okay doll, just... stay safe okay?" Bucky embraces me into a tight hug.

I was surprised to be fair. No one hugged me like that besides my dad.

"I will." I smiled at him and went out.

I got inside my car and set my things down on the passenger seat. I sighed and went to the store.

As soon as I drove there, I parked on my usual spot and said hello to the nice old lady who usually sat alone with a black cat.

"Hey Lucifer." I chuckled and mentally got scared because of the name.

I'm going to hell...

"Hey David." I greeted the owner of the small supermarket.

He was 65 years old. He had white facial hair and white hair along with some glasses. He kinda looked like Santa Clause but the cheaper version. He was the kindest soul there was.

"Hello Esperanza! How are you today dear?" He smiled as he scanned a client's canned food.

"I'm great! I'm just here for the usual." I smiled and went to the candy area.

"Heck yes!" I whispered when I saw the variety of candy and chocolate that there was.

I looked to see Emily who was a freshman in college. She was restocking the candy.

"No wonder there's a lot of new stuff!" I squealed and she looked at me with a wide smile.

"Hell Yeah. I might even buy some before I leave today." She winked and then continued to stock.

Hershey's..... Twix..... gosh so many options!

"I'll take you." I whispered and grabbed the Kisses.

Shit. I forgot I had workouts tomorrow with Bucky. Oh no. He's going to make me drink that nasty Kale shake.

I cringed at the thought and then I made my way to the flowers. I picked up a Lily and went to the cashier.

After having a conversation with David, I put my stuff in my car and then drove to the cemetery. I put my sunglasses on, fixed my hair, scratched my arm due to my eczema and got out of the car.

"Hey Pete. I just wanted to let you know that I'm okay now. I miss you so much. Here's a lily. I need to head back now. It's getting dark. As usual, I got my candy and bought movies to watch later on tonight. I'll see you soon. Bye." I blew a kiss and walked back to my car.

After what seemed like forever, I finally got to the Compound. I bought a few things to redecorate my room since it was depressing.

I parked outside the Compound but I felt like someone was following me. I was probably being too paranoid. I got my things and then I decided to walk slow since the sunset was still out. That's when I felt someone from behind me putting a towel or something on my nose and mouth. I struggled against the person and then I lost consciousnesses.

I groaned as I felt a liquid falling on my lip. I looked around and saw a damp room.

"Ew!" I said when I saw a dead raccoon and rats were eating it.

"I see you're awake." Someone said making me yell.

"Scream as loud as you want. Nobody will hear you. Anyways, let's get started." The voice said and that's when a male around my age walked out of the darkened from the corner of the room.

He looked Hispanic and he looked very very mean.

"Esperanza Pierce."

"No. I'm Esperanza Banner. Who the hell are you?!" I angrily spat and he smacked me.

"After Father was killed, I had to step up. Esperanza, welcome to your true home. Hydra."

"I don't understand." I whimpered.

"Ugh. Just like mother. Always weak. Mother really didn't like the idea of Hydra. Apparently after she had you, she abandoned you when you were nine months old. Pathetic if you ask me. Her name was Lillian Ramirez. She was Dominican. Father had her killed after he found out what she did to you. Father wanted to make you into his little monster like me."

"What the hell.." I whispered.

No. This can't be true. Bruce Banner is my dad. He's the one that raised me! I mean I knew he adopted me but still!

"I'm your brother. My name is Erick. Your father is Alexander Pierce." Erick smirked when he saw me cry silently.

I wanted to go home. I wanted to go with my dad and Bucky. I yelled and tried to squirm out of the ropes but he kicked my stomach making me cough.

"And you are going to become my little monster now. Little sister."
