Ch. 21

Meanwhile...

"Okay Bucky, 2 truths and a lie." Steve told Bucky when Sam, Bucky and him were in a circle in the kitchen after they let Esperanza go.

The team had to go on a mission leaving only them three along with Tony and Bruce.

"Alright." Bucky sighed and thought about his two truths and his lie.

"My eyes are green, I think Sam Wilson is a dick, and I'm the one that assassinated President John F. Kennedy." Bucky said as he took a sip of his orange juice.

"It's gotta be a little harder than tha—"

"His eyes are blue." Sam awkwardly said causing Steve to stay silent and think.

After what seemed like hours Steve came into realization.

"YOU DID WHAT?!" Steve yelled as he got up and raised his arms like a mad man.

"I had no choice Steve." Bucky shrugged before standing up to see someone walking out of the headquarters.

The kitchen had windows obviously. Steve and Sam noticed Bucky's worried face and that concerned them considering that Bucky really never showed no emotions in front of them. Except for the happy side not the worried/sad side.

All three of them saw Esperanza with her head hung low and saw another person behind her with a jacket on. So they didn't know who it was.

"What is she doing?" Sam asked as he crossed his arms causing Bucky to sigh.

"This doesn't feel too..."

"Safe. This doesn't feel too safe. I'm going to follow her." Bucky said before running to his room to grab the nearest guns that he had and put them at the waist band of his jeans.

Esperanza's POV:

"Drive faster."

"Hello! Can't you see that sign that says 40 miles per hour?" I rolled my eyes as I kept my eyes on the road.

"Shut the fuck up and listen to me. Or do you want me to immediately tell my friends to kill your family." Peter hissed making me stay silent.

After what seemed like hours, we were in Vermont.

Yes. Vermont.

We entered a base which had the famous Hydra symbol and then I felt Peter's hand on my shoulder.

"Welcome home Essy."

When Peter said that sentence, I felt someone putting a rag over my mouth. I fought but then the last thing I saw was Peter smirking.

Third POV:

Bucky, Steve and Sam has their suits on just in case and were shocked to see the Hydra agents outside the base.

"I thought that when we rescued Esperanza..."

"Seems like it wasn't the last Hydra base." Steve said in anger.

"Listen here. I drove for too long and my feet hurt..." Sam whined but Bucky shoot him a glare.

"We are trying to rescue my girlfriend Sam." Bucky said but nonetheless decided to shoot the agents outside the base.

"I'm coming for you mi amor." Bucky whispered as him, Steve and Sam were fighting the agents inside.

Esperanza's POV:

I woke up strapped to a chair and Peter whistling like a serial killer.

"Oh good you're awake. Let's begin." Peter sighed and smirked.

"Wait.... What? What happened?" I asked in confusion.

"Oh, you don't remember Essy?" Peter said making me shake my head.

There was a mirror in front of me and I noticed a bruise on the side of my head.

"Yeah about that... you won't remember some stuff. Did you know that you have a boyfriend?" Peter eyed me making me gulp.

"I do?"

"Yes you do. Sadly, since clearly I don't know how someone can date something like you. You are clearly overweight, ugly and most of all..... just horrendous." Peter grinned when he saw that I had tears in my eyes.

"You're not you... and I'm not! I'm Fluffy..." I whispered the last part.

"Whatever. You're going to be mines forever best friend." Peter smiled.
