"W-what does that mean Ethan?" I said refusing to believe what I was thinking.
"Y-you were a bet Audrey" his voice broke.
"My friends and I were playing a game of truth or dare-" He sniffled .
"And I was stupid enough to choose dare. They told me to try and get you to like me, since you had no feelings for anyone at the time." He cried.
"At the carnival, we were following you to try and get you to notice me there. They wanted me to break your heart, until I realized that I started to like you" he broke down.
"S-so I was a joke after all" I mumbled to myself as a tear escaped my eye.
"What about Melanie?"
"She was just a distraction" he scoffed sadly.
"I was trying to get my mind off of you, I just couldn't" he said.
I thought for awhile before I hugged him as he cried into my chest.
I stroked his hair calming him down and then i said "it's going to be okay, I forgive you"
He hugged my tightly after he calmed down.
"I don't wanna lose you Audrey"
