chapter 13 - hospital visit (Part 1)

When Roger regained his consciousness, one of the nurses that was keeping watch over him flinched a little. "Alicia, why are you so jumpy?" Another female asked the newbie. She then found Roger glaring at her and the new nurse. "Oh, the bastard is awake. I will call the boss and let him know. Alicia, please leave," the nurse gently commanded the new nurse and the nurse scampered away from the man and from the room. The other nurse smiled as the nurse went away in a fit of fear. She felt bad for bringing her into the hospital, but it was to keep her safe.

"I see you care for her. You must adore her," Roger spat out at the nurse and the nurse almost lost her cool until she remembered that Alicia is an innocent newbie and thus, shouldn't be broken in like most of the people working in the hospital.

"Fuck you, Roger," the nurse spoke with a cool tone, making Roger smirk at her.

"Oh. Did I touch a nerve?" Roger asked, making the nurse glare down at him. She then started to strangle him with some cords and that was when Damien had looked into the room. Apparently, the head doctor had noticed the situation when he had walked by and he called the big boss himself. Damien was staring with an amused smile as the nurse tried to strangle Roger to near death.

"Ms. Red, please calm down," Damien's voice was soft, yet hard. Red Hart was the nurse that was attending to Roger and she glanced to see Damien eyeing her with an amused grin on his face. She then groaned, remembering that her lover needs her. She released Roger and the man spat on her face, making her see red. Okay, he was a bitch in this whole situation. Damien thought as Nurse Hart punched Roger in his head and she had hit the same spot that Alana had hit him in, causing Roger to see stars.

Damien smirked at the way that Nurse Hart had almost killed Roger. "Don't kill him, Nurse Hart. You can go attend to your lover, Ms. Red," he releases her to go to her lover and she leaves the room to tend to Alicia. Damien turned to Roger and the man glared at him.

"Motherfucker," he hissed at Damien and Damien glared back at him.

"You're the bigger motherfucker here," Damien spoke to Roger with a cold tone. Roger glared back at Damien.

"She's mine," he spoke bitterly, talking about Pumpkin. Damien snarled at his words.

"Pumpkin is mine," he hissed at the man he called his brother at one point in his life. "I called you my brother and you went and kidnapped my lover," Damien was both pissed off at himself and Roger.

"I should have took her innocence when I had to chance. She looked so beautiful when she's sleeping," he tells Damien, who glared at him with very angry eyes.

Damien couldn't believe the man that was strapped down to his hospital bed. Roger simply smirked at the anger that Damien was showing him. He knew that he had made the king angry and he was glad that he had pissed him off.
