"Just do it!" My best friends screamed jumping up and down on my bed. "I don't know..." I said hesitantly. "Don't make me press the upload button for you!" Lexi said, threatening me.
Here goes nothing. I pressed the upload button and waited for all of the hate comments to come in. I made a post on Instagram to let my 65,000 followers know that I did a cover on my YouTube.

"Welp, it's out there now..." I said, sighing. "You need to be more confident, Honey." Lexi said, Kenzie nodding with her. "So far, all of the comments are positive." Kenzie said reassuringly.
"I know. I'm just not confident because of what happened." I said with tears welling up in my eyes. "The past is the past. You are so talented, and you shouldn't let the negativity get to you." Lexi said, rubbing my back.
We stayed up talking until three in the morning, when my eyes felt heavy and I fell asleep.
By the time we woke up, it was already late in the afternoon. We decided to get ready and go out to lunch.
When we were done ordering, we started talking. It was difficult, because my phone kept blowing up with notifications.
"What the heck is going on?" I said looking at my phone. Kenzie and Lexi just shrugged and I picked up my phone.
Most of the notifications were from Instagram and I looked through my last post to see what was going on.
"Oh my god." I said, standing out of my seat. "What is it?" Kenzie asked curiously. "Ruel noticed my cover." I said squealing. "Oh my god, that's great!" Lexi said getting up to come hug me.
"That's not even the best part! He actually liked it." I said excitedly. "See, we told you it was an amazing cover and you had nothing to worry about." Kenzie said, walking over to me to give me a hug.
We all sat down and I went through the flood of comments from my fans, his fans, and him.
