Five days. This is not a drill. There are five days until the concert. Ruel and I have talked everyday for the past week. His sisters have also talked to me since then.
I was a little bit surprised at first, but I love talking to them. Plus, they give me embarrassing stories about Ruel so I have blackmail to use against him. Kidding! Partially.
I've been nervous ever since we got into the single digits. I've wanted to see Ruel in concert ever since I first heard his music.
Lexi and Kenzie have been coming over everyday to help calm me down. I don't know why I'm so anxious, it's not like I'm meeting him.
(Author's Note: I realize that there have been a lot of time skips, and I'm doing another one. I'm just so anxious for the concert.)
Day of the concert Three hours. I have three hours until we're leaving. Kenzie and Lexi are over at my house getting ready. I started by getting in the shower, jamming out to my Ruel playlist.
I straightened my hair and put on my outfit, which was a yellow gingham off the shoulder top and jeans. It was at this point when I started to freak out again. Kenzie took me into the bathroom and successfully calmed my nerves.
