"Grayson Bailey Dolan!" I wake up hearing Lisa's voice. Oh thank god she's only on the phone

"Mum I know it looks bad but it was Chloe" he explains

"Gray, I know she's put you through a hell of a lot but that's no reason to just snap at her" I eavesdrop

"Mum she kissed me! And y/n saw and ran away. You know how much she means to me and I would never hurt her. You have to understand that I yelled at her for a reason. I'm sick of her bull shit and I just don't wanna go through it again. I'm with y/n and I love her" I smile still facing away from him

"Ok gray I understand, but if you really love her make sure you treat her right. She's a lovely girl and she brings out the good in you. Now be good I love you" I hear him sigh

"Love you too. I miss you. Good bye" he says and hangs up the phone and puts it on his bed.

"I love you too" I turn around and climb on him

He kisses me. But it's not like our usual kisses. It's passionate and with love. And that's as far as it went. No eagerness, no ripping clothes off. No... anything. Just kissing. And that right there made me feel genuinely loved.

- two weeks later

"Thank you so much we'll be there. Good bye" I hang up the phone and smile.

I brought gray and I tickets to go visit his mum in New York for three weeks. I also got some organised for Emma and Ethan to go during summer break. I'm not telling gray yet but our flight leaves in about an hour and 45 minutes so I told him to pack a suitcase and meet me at mine. Since I don't have a car yet.

You: Gray hey you almost packed

Gray: yea I'm about to leave. You gonna tell me where we're going yet or what

You: hehe nope. I'm taking the keys when u get here and blindfolding u. U won't find it til we stop. But see ya soon

Gray: okkk fine. Love you

You: you too

We both hang up and he gets here five minutes later. I chuck the stuff in the car... well gray does, and then I blindfold him and start driving to the airport.
