Namjoon ~

I really had no idea what was going on in my life anymore. All I knew, was that for some reason, you need different paper work to run a company or whatever, and I needed to get to work.

I walked into my office with a cup of bad, instant coffee, and shut the door behind me. I sighed, finally being alone after so much has happened in the last couple days. I mean alone by choice, it was nice.

But me being peacefully alone didn't last much longer.

I walked over to the couch in my office and set my cup down on the coffee table, and got up to turn on my lamp, when I had the shit scared out of me.

"I've been expecting you."

I jumped ten feet into the air, and immediately grabbed my cup, ready to throw what I thought would be damaging and steaming hot coffee at a perp that in reality was just sad, lukewarm coffee.

Gahyeon spun around in my chair, revealing herself. She cackled, "Oh, oh my god! Joon, yo-you should've seen how h-high, how high you jumped!" She laughed hysterically and held her stomach. "Whew!"

"Ha ha," I answered sarcastically, "Hilarious, 'Yeon." I gave her the smallest of smiles, she just gave me back that same grin from when we were kids, sending nostalgia through my mind. "Now, get out, I've got job stuff to do."

"Nope!" She replied cheerily. "We are going to sit here and talk," she stated matter-of-factly. She rolled herself over to the door in my chair and smacked it shut, rolling back to her previous location in my office.

"Okay," I took a sip of my bad coffee, "About what?"

She rolled her eyes, "What else has there been to talk about lately, Namjoon?" She sighed, "We gotta fix," she hesitated and then gestured to everything, waggling her arms around, "This. By 'this', I mean everything."

I placed my hands over my face and sighed, "I don't even know where to start."

"Step one, tell him you're sorry."

"Isn't that kind of implied?" I questioned, she rolled her eyes. "Oh, come on, Gahyeon! You know I'm not good with apologies, they're embarrassing."

She stood up abruptly from my chair, causing it to spin a little, "Oh, grow up, Namjoon!" She paced back and forth infront of me with her hands behind her back. "You made a mistake, that's fine, you're human. But you can't just expect things to change if you won't put in any effort!" Her eyebrows were furrowed, and she was quickening her pace. "You're supposed to teach me stuff, Namjoon. You're my role model. You can't do that if you're not making good decisions!"

"I'm sorry I keep disappointing you."

She looked up at me and stopped walking, only to come and sit down next to me and sling an arm around my shoulder. "Hey, we're gonna fix this. You're gonna get back on the horse and then I'll get to disappoint you with my bad highschool choices. Hmm?"

I laughed, "Whatever, so, what's first?"

"Well first, why'd you drive Matt away?" She asked, her tone now more serious.

"I-I really like Seokjin, but I drove him away first. I didn't, I didn't know how to handle him being with someone else. I still feel like I did something good, though. I know it was selfish, but I'm happy I did it. Otherwise, I would've had to suffer with watching them be cutesy with each other."

"Okay," she hesitated, "That's understandable, I guess. Still inexcusable, but understandble nonetheless." She rubbed my back with her hand. She stood up and sat back down in my chair, tapping the arm rests with her fingers. "The question is, what are you willing to do to make sure he doesn't date another guy? You say you like him, and you don't want him with someone else, so you try'na date or what?"

"I-I don't, I don't know," I stared at the cieling and leaned back against the couch.

"What do you mean you don't know?"

"I mean that I don't know if I want to date him."

"What?!" She let out a deep breath, "You mean to tell me," she hunched over in the chair, getting closer, "That you made him cry by driving away his boyfriend, and you don't even know if you want to date him?"

"I'm a bad person."

"Whew," she rubbed her temples, "Okay, so what you're gonna do, is date him."

"I don't know, Gahyeon. I can't just-"

"Zip it, short stack, I'm thinking." Gahyeon really seems to like interrupting people, doesn't she. "Why don't you wanna date him?"

"I can't be tied down to one person."

"But you want him to only think and want you?" I stayed silent. "Namjoon, you can't have this standard for him and not want to meet them yourself." She leaned back in the chair. "Why do you want to date him?"

"He, he makes me feel less lonely, he makes me smile, we have-had, fun times together, and he's hot."

"That's already more pros than cons." She smiled, "I've decided for you ; you're gonna make him not be mad at you by apologizing and then asking him out on a date. Simple."

"I can't do that, 'Yeon."

"Why not?"

"Because I'm scared! Okay? I'm scared. I don't want to hurt his feelings." I breathed out, "I can't be tied down to one person, or I'll screw everything up."

"Well, you're gonna have to unless you wanna live like Hugh Hefner and die a lonely old man surrounded by gold diggers." She said, lacking sympathy for me.

"Why do you even care, Gahyeon?"

"Because you're my brother and I love you! He clearly makes you some sort of happy!" She yelled as she got up from the chair, and wagged her finhers in my face, almost like an angry nanny. "He is a very nice young man. Y'all are supposed to get married and live happily ever after with me as your flower girl at the wedding! So far, you don't seem to be making him too happy, and that's gotta change. You two have chemistry, I know it. Now you need to get off your ass and make it work." She ended it by plopping back down in the chair once again.

I sighed, "Fine, but if this goes wrong, you're the one that's gonna get shit on by us both."

"Lucky for you, I want to be shit on." She joked.

"Ew," I smiled at her, only earning a laugh from her in return. "Now, you conjure up your evil plan or whatever and let me work."

"Oh, I will," she rubbed her hands together and let out a fake evil laugh.

"Weirdo," she stuck her tongue out at me. "Get out," I pushed her towards the door.

"Okay, okay!" She walked out, "Hey, Joon?"

"Hm?"

"You know I love you, right?" She asked me softly.

"Of course, I love you, too, Gahyeon."

"Huh! Gay!" She yelled. "I'm just kidding." She smiled. "Hey, Namjoon?"

"Hm?"

"Work hard," she paused dramatically, "But party harder."

I laughed, "Get out!"
