The day's at an end
My life along with it
They tried their hardest
But death always wins
It took me faster
Before they would like
I leave hand in hand
True colours burning bright
The hospital tried
They tried and failed
My mask was raised
True self unveiled
Everyone cries
But I sit and watch
I try to tell them
"I'm here, just listen"
But they never listen
Nobody listens
They don't listen
That's why I did it
And now I'll sleep
I'll dream a dream
That I can live in
But, this time, I'm never waking up
