It's a tiring feat
Watching things deplete
Seeing from afar
But that's not who you are
Trying to advise
By seeing through new eyes
But every time you try
You're thinking about why
Why you decided
To help as things subsided
When you know in your heart
Nothing you're doing is smart
Giving away your rations
Instead of pursuing your passions
Helping out by giving
When you should be living
Your life is quickly passing you by
And you can't even sit and cry
You're too busy in abnegation
Rejecting your location
You try so hard to be good
Instead of doing what you should
Your guts told you no
But you just had to go
You had to help the poor
Like you're living in some lore
Your body starts to shrink
But you don't even stop to think
What you're doing is wrong
And it has been all along
But you think you're doing good
When nobody thinks you should
You're handing out false hope
Leaving unfortunates to mope
Waiting for a savior
To save them from unpaid labor
But that day will never come
Which makes them all feel glum
But you never stopped to think
Which brought you to the brink
You walked the razors edge
And they pushed you off a ledge
You shouldn't have done what you did
And now you're laying amid
Those who came before you
Those who felt as if their life were through
They all killed themselves
After they pushed you with their helves
They wanted to get you back
And you're death is just another lack
None of them live
Because all you could do was give
And now you've been abandonedBy: gotohelltoburnwithme
