"Look at the light, now!"

The assassin didn't flinch at the booming of words as her eyes flickered to the flashlight that was shining onto her. "I don't believe she is ready." One of the people around her muttered in German. Her heart suddenly pounded as she wondered what they would do with her if she wasn't ready to go out yet.

"I believe she is." Another one stated as he approached her. The girl relaxed slightly as he stood in front of her and reached into his coat. "I just have one small thing that needs to be done. In order to...keep everyone safe." He murmured and suddenly shoved a mask over her face.

A metal strip went into her mouth and attached itself around her tongue, making her gag slightly. "There. Now this ensures pure silence." The man said with a slight smirk. The assassin slowly reached up and touched the mask as her eyes tried to look down to see it.

She saw a puddle on the ground, which made her lean forward to direct her face over it. She touched the pure white mask, feeling the rough texture underneath her fingers. She tried to move her tongue, but the piece wrapped around prevented her from doing so.

She swallowed and looked up at the HYDRA men all staring at her, some smirking and some looking at her sympathetically. She slunk down, shoulders dropping in shame while the man who put the mask on her grinned.

"Now she's ready."
