—A week ago—
The month of October has started, with only a few weeks left of summer. Over the past few weeks, Yugyeom and I have been talking. Not a lot but just enough for us to be somewhat comfortable with each other again.
Jinyoung and Yugyeom haven't talked about what happened between them. Since Jinyoung is now Yugyeom's music teacher, things have become more awkward for them. Even so, Yugyeom still goes to his class and they both still greet each other when they see each other around the college.
Jinyoung has been avoiding me too. I have to act like I don't know why though. Yugyeom and I agreed to give it some time before we all start hanging out again, just to make things calm down between them two.
—Today—
Almost a month has passed since the incident, so Yugyeom and I decide to find him at lunch and eat with him.
As we get our food, we scan the lunch hall to find him at the far end corner with JB.
"Hyung, isn't that Yugyeom and Jia? Why are they together? Are they talking again?"
"Looks like it. The day Yugyeom heard you say that you liked Jia, he stormed out the college. I couldn't find him when I went after him. Then when I came back I saw Jia and she said that she was going to look for him."
"Wait. Does she know how I feel?!"
"She said she knew about Yugyeom storming away but it seemed like she didn't know why. So I assume she doesn't know. Stop worrying bro haha."
"Okay few...So I guess she found him that day. They look like they talked things out," Jinyoung says as he looks down playing with his food.
"Jinyoung ah, I told you that you need to get over her."
"Things are easier said than done, hyung."
He looks up to find us walking towards their table.
"Hyung. Hyung! They're coming over!" He panics.
"Calm down! Just eat..."
We arrive at their table and sit down.
Wow this is way more awkward than I thought it would be
"Annyeong oppadeur (hi oppas)," I say as cheerfully as possible.
"Hi guys!" JB nicely replies.
All Jinyoung does is look up from eating to give us a half-hearted smile.
