kendrick shot up on his asiago, soaring into the sea of clouds above. he inhaled, blowing a gust of wind so the clouds slowly began to shift out of the way. he repeated the action, looking down as the pirates crawled onto a speeding ship in the bay, heading for the plaza.

"hey." oars murmured, looking at t'kai as the paddle boat soared forward. "get off my shoulder. i don't wanna hurt you."

"yessir, thank you!" kierra leapt down off of him, oboiye following as t'kai stepped onto the bridge. he watched oars lift the boat from the bay into the plaza, t'kai humming softly.

"kendrick!" he looked up. "hurry up."

"geez pops, i can only breath so much." he panted, the clouds passing the sun. t'kai looked over as oars turned his head, panting heavily.

"we did it." he breathed, looking down at t'kai who stared up at him. "t'kai...save ace at any cost." t'kai's eyes narrowed as cannons were fired at the giant, oars rocking forward.

t'kai's teeth gritted as whitebeard leapt down from the ship, setting off a quake which threw marines back. the clouds finally shifted from the sun as the whitebeard commanders joined whitebeard.

"guys!" whitebeard raised his fist. "rescue ace! and destroy the navy!"

vitani raised her bow and yapped, t'kai crossing his arms.

she leapt down into a sea of marines, punching the ground as electricity pulsated and threw them back. she turned and punched a man back, ducking and flipping to kick two away before landing. she turned as kizaru appeared beside her, kicking her back as she threw up a block.

"how flashing." he beamed as she stood, cracking her neck.

"you gotta bone to pick?" she snarled as he shot forward at the speed of light, she readied to punch him as he pointed, vitani barely dodging a beam as she rolled out the way. she stood and disappeared, reappearing on the opposite side of him as she grabbed a piece of smoker's broken weapon. she threw it at his head, kizaru winching before turning slowly.

"what was that..." he murmured. oboiye landed on kizaru's back, pulling his hair.

"diversion!" he pronounced, his accent thick as vitani kicked kizaru back. oboiye's body molded into a shadow to avoid being kicked as well, vitani crossing her arms and staring after kizaru. t'kai landed before them, digging his feet into the ground as he opened his palm. a beam of sunlight shot out for kizaru who dodged, t'kai shifting his arm to move after him. kizaru appeared behind him, lifting his leg to kick him although zeda appeared. he caught he foot, a laser shooting from it and piercing zelda's shoulder.

"zeda!" oboiye yelled, vitani grinning. zeda rolled back, exposing his slimy back to t'kai as he moved the beam of sunlight to it. it reflected off of him and onto the sea of marines, blinding them as naomi appeared through the crowd. skylar ducked to avoid a sword, punching him back before freezing a man. she punched him back into a crowd, turning as kizaru's laser pierced luffy. she gritted her teeth, naomi looking up as she snapped a man's neck.

he kicked luffy back, whitebeard catching him. he held him upside down, luffy beating against his arm.

"let me go! i need to help ace!" he insisted, whitebeard tossing him into a sea of pirates.

"he's done enough for now, take care of him."

"yessir!" they yelled, attempting to hold him as kierra worked to heal him.

"luffy keep still!" she snapped as he landed on the ground sitting up.

"i can't!" he grabbed her collar, kierra flinching. "ace is...ace is..." tears welled in her eyes as she stared down at him, biting her lip. "my only brother!"

he moved past her, stumbling before eventually collapsing on the ground.

"he pushed himself too much." baltay murmured beside marco. marco gritted his teeth and turned and fell back, landing on his back and catching aokiji's foot. his hands began to freeze over as diamond jozu knocked aokiji over.

"are you okay?" he murmured, marco nodding.

"thanks" he stood, looking over his frozen hands. kendrick hummed from above, looking over his shoulder.

"hey v!" he yelled as she dodged a sword, pushing against it without her forearm armor before kicking another soldier away.

"what is it kendrick?!" she panted.

"could you help marco out a little?" she dodged a bullet, watching it pierce another marine instead before disappearing. she knelt down and panted, looking up as he extended his frozen hands. she enclosed her's around them gently, watching them vibrate with electricity until the ice shattered.

"thank you." he nodded as she turned to her brothers.

"i'm running out of energy." she murmured, watching an opavian fire an arrow through a man's head.

"we've been at it for hours." oboiye murmured in agreement. t'kai turned, gripping his sword and knocking back a group of marines before raising his hand.

"what is he up to?" akainu scowled, t'kai's body twisting and molding until raven appeared.

"gotcha" he grinned as t'kai landed in a sea of oblivious marines. they backed away in fear as he raised his hand, balling his fist. the air seemed to fluctuate, revealing baltay, zeda, and marco leaping in the air, hidden in an allusion. marco carried a large cannon on his shoulder, firing cannon balls as zeda lunged forward with baltay.

t'kai created a ball of flames in his hands, billowing a dark orange and red as he looked around.

"whitebeard." he bellowed, splitting the orb in half. "tell your people to watch it."

he tossed the two pieces into his mouth and chewed it before spitting it into the air. it glew brilliantly before exploding into a heat of destructive flame. it spread over the marine forces, t'kai turning as the men yelled in horror.

"this is the power of T'kai." coby whispered from behind a wall, watching t'kai walk calmly from the burning flames. "he's too strong."

akainu appeared before him, attempting to punch him with a fist of molten lava but t'kai easily caught his hand. his eyes seemed to widen in a panic as t'kai's grip tightened on his fist.

"it's not burning him." kizaru noted as t'kai gritted his teeth.

"i've got the power of the sun why the hell would it?!" he bellowed, throwing akainu onto the ground. he gritted his teeth as t'kai lifted his other hand to punch him, akainu barely dodging. he disappeared, reappearing beside t'kai who turned and elbowed him back. akainu skidded against the ground, t'kai creating a black orb in his hands.

"back up!" kendrick yelled, the opavians yapping and retreating with whitebeard.

"barriers!" oboiye ordered, whitebeard gritting his teeth.

"what's going on?" he demanded, water barriers thrown up around the pirates. the marines watched in horror as akainu gritted his teeth, t'kai's black orb expanding until it was about the size of a ball. he pushed it forward, a large black hole beginning to suck marines inside. akainu gritted his teeth as he edged forward, marines yelling in horror.

doflamingo cackled devilishly, t'kai's arms remaining crossed.

"straw boy!" ivankov yelled as luffy's unconscious body slid forward, t'kai extending his hand to catch him. he held him by his torso, akainu sliding forward before kizaru appeared and grabbed him at the last moment. t'kai raised his opposite hand, the orb size decreasing and inching closer to him before he punched it up.

"luffy!" hancock fretted as t'kai tossed him back into the sea of people.

"be careful with him!" she scolded as he glanced at her.

"he's fine." he muttered. "he is a man of rubber."

"still!" she snapped, kierra kneeling as the water opavian released their barriers of water.

"let's go!" baltay yelled as the pirates and opavians roared, running forward.
