raven carried vitani to the military base where she was thrown down on the ground. the admiral looked over her warily, pacing around her as raven stepped back.

"she showed up outside the village borders yesterday evening. i found her harboring at an abandoned house and you can see where it went from there." he hummed.

"there's no wounds...signs of struggle..." the admiral murmured.

"i caught her by surprise and gave her a stun." he lifted her shirt to reveal a birthmark underneath her breast, resembling a burn mark. the admiral hummed in satisfaction, nodding and straightening as raven stood.

"nice work."

"what will we do with her?" raven hummed.

"we have no choice but to bring her to marinford." he sighed. "we'll lock her up in the cellar with some seaprism for now. then we'll take her to impel down and let them deal with her." he ran his hand under her chin, vitani's eyes still rolled to the back of her head.

"you can take her down." the admiral turned to raven. "keep this from t'kai."

"excuse me?"

"i'm just saying keep this incident between us two. if t'kai finds out we captured his daughter, god knows what he will do." the admiral stepped outside the room and closed the door. raven knelt beside her and shook her gently, vitani opening an eye warily.

"nice acting kid." he smiled, vitani sitting up.

"how'd you know about my birthmark?" she peered up at him. raven gave a smirk, standing up.

"i've known you for most of your life kid." he hummed. raven approached a large cellar in the wall, grabbing the sea cuffs warily.

"alright, you know the deal." she extended her wrist for him to cuff, vitani sighing.

"are these things really necessary?" she scowled. "i mean all i have to do is" she swiped the air with her wrist, raven chuckling.

"yeah, yeah." he grabbed her arm gently. "let's take you downstairs kid. who knows how long until we make it to marinford." he opened the door, pushing vitani forward so she stumbled out. she squinted at the sun, sighing.

"get movin'." raven pushed her forward, vitani grunting as she was guided to the steps. marines watched warily, gripping their guns as she shot them glares. she was guided down the steps and led into a cell, a guard swallowing.

"watch over her." raven ordered. "yell if you need anything." he glanced at vitani, the message more-so for her than the guard. she nodded faintly as raven walked up the steps, leaving her and the guard in private. she peered up at him, watching his gaze flicker away from her anxiously.

"what the hell are you staring at?" he snapped after a few moments, vitani gripping the bars of the cage as she stared up at him.

"what does it look like?" she scoffed, her tail flicking behind her. "i'm hungry."

"what the hell do you want me to do about it?"

"feed me!" she whined. he scoffed and looked down at her.

"you're really just a kid, aren't you?" he muttered bitterly.

"i mean..." she looked around. "i guess?" he scoffed and stood, opening the door. he yelled something inaudibly to someone upstairs, vitani watching carefully.

"someone should be bringing you something soon." he hummed. "don't expect anything gourmet. our head chef's sick so we're managing."

"thanks." she yawned, looking down at her cuffs. she flicked her tail, messing with it boredly causing her cuffs to clink against the ground periodically.
