vitani's eyes closed as she waited for the sword to strike her, opening them after a few seconds. raven stood before her, his sword holding amari's back.

"raven!" she whispered, a sudden shiver sliding down her spine.

"he's here!" skylar cried, yapping in pure joy as tears spilled her cheeks. vitani slowly turned, staring up at t'kai who towered behind her.

"masetno." she whispered.

amari's brows furrowed as he leapt back, raven stepping beside t'kai.

"took you long enough."

"yeah." he hummed, looking down at vitani. "popio." she shivered at the word. "go check on your brothers and sister for me."

"vitani!" jace sprinted forward, picking her up and moving her out the way from a cannon fire.

"stay out the way!" amari ran forward as t'kai lifted his hand, amari's body shriveling in a spotlight of darkness. he gritted his teeth as t'kai and raven turned.

raven tore off his justice jacket, tossing it onto the ground and cracking his knuckles beside t'kai.

"stay here." t'kai murmured, approaching whitebeard's ship. the marines seemed to fall back at his presence, a giant leaping up.

"don't turn your back on me!" he roared, t'kai turning and elbowing his mouth. he grabbed the giant's spear and twirled it, slamming it into his chest to pin him before kicking his gut. he spewed up blood as t'kai turned, leaping up onto whitebeard's ship. he flicked his tail, crossing his arms.

"your children arrived before you." whitebeard gave a grin. "you should be embarrassed."

"i'm here aren't i?" he hummed. "i see straw hat arrived as well." t'kai glanced back as crocodile appeared behind whitebeard, his hook ready to pierce his neck.

"long time no see, whitebeard!" he grinned, whitebeard barely flinching. "you never learn."

before crocodile could do anything, luffy appeared and kicked him away, t'kai humming softly.

"hey squirt." whitebeard spoke up. "that straw hat you've got looks just like the one shanks was wearing once."

"old man, you know shanks?" luffy peered up at him as t'kai laughed. "shanks left it to me."

"you came here to rescue your brother?" t'kai hummed.

"yeah!" luffy quickly responded as whitebeard glared down at him.

"do you know who you're messing with?!" he slammed his staff down. "a squirt like you will be dead meat!"

"shut up!" luffy yelled. "that's not up to you to decide!" he leaned forward. "i know what you're up to! you wanna become the king of the pirates, right?! but i'm the only who will become the king!"

whitebeard gritted his teeth and twirled his spear before slamming it on the ground, t'kai peering down at luffy. he smirked as whitebeard gave a grin.

"how saucy you are." he looked up. "i won't forgive you if you cause me trouble, spoiled brat."

"i'm gonna do as i like!" luffy announced. "i'm gonna rescue ace."

t'kai hummed as he looked up, kendrick landing on the ship.

"luffy!" vitani breathed, enveloping him in a hug, kierra quickly joining.

"te challa?!" kierra looked over him as he grinned.

"i'm fine." he assured, kierra's gaze moving to t'kai. vitani stepped infront of her peering up at him.

"nun dye zapi pu za ella uo? (why are you here)" she scowled, t'kai running a hand over his head.

"to save you." he answered simply, whitebeard raising an eyebrow at the sky.

"pops!" kendrick yelled, landing before t'kai. he grinned up at him excitedly, oboiye stepping in next to him. "it's been a while!"

"masetno." oboiye dipped his head, t'kai running his hand over kendrick's head in affection.

"t'kai." baltay dipped his head, blood pooling from it. "amari is still out there. we managed to take down reese but i don't know where amaya or dee are."

t'kai hummed and stepped forward, flicking his tail.

"amari!" he bellowed, his children standing beside him. marines shivered at the bass in his voice as he glared over the fighting soldiers.

"marco." he looked up as he joined them on the ship, followed by jace, zeda, skylar and naomi. "find him."

marco's paints glimmered as he stared forward, squinting. he suddenly gasped and turned, flicking baltay's shoulder as dee transformed from a bug into his opavian form. his bow was drawn for t'kai's head who looked up, jace leaping up before him.

the arrow pierced through him as t'kai gritted his teeth. he reached out and grabbed dee, squeezing him by his throat. he choked before throwing him into a block of ice.

"jace!" kendrick roared, catching him as he fell to the ground.

"jace!" baltay knelt down, looking over his body as he panted hoarsely.

vitani knelt down beside oboiye who gritted his teeth, jace staring up at baltay.

"thank you..." he rasped, turning his head to zeda. "for being." he looked at marco as tears fell from his eyes. "my family."

"why'd you have to step infront of him?!" skylar gritted her teeth, holding his hand shakingly.

baltay leaned forward as tears pooled from his eyes, resting his forehead against jace's. he leaned jace back down after a moment, oboiye closing his eyes gently with his finger. t'kai looked up from them in silence, his grip tightening on his sheathe.

"damnit." he swore, disappearing. vitani watched him in silence before standing. she looked over her shoulder as the water dispersed and erupted a large sea king. she stared at the face paints silently, oboiye rising as well.

"it's dee." he balled his fist, dee's tentackles lashing. he had the face of a bull and the body of an octopus as he inhaled and roared.

"please watch over his body for us, mr.whitebeard." kierra peered up at him as he gave a faint nod. zeda and chris dragged him to the back of the deck carefully before setting him down. they joined oboiye at the edge, popping his knuckles.

"let's take em down ." he announced.

the group suddenly froze as dee inhaled, spewing out a beam across the marine frontline. the pirates stepped back to avoid it as he slowly began to aim it towards the opavians beside whitebeard.

"naomi!" oboiye yelled as she immediately disappeared. she landed on his tentacle, digging her knife into it and dragging it through his skin. he lashed out angrily as vitani appeared on his back, electrocuting him. kendrick fell from the sky, flipping as he sliced his scythe three times and extended his hand, throwing a blast of wind forward. it hit his back as vitani disappeared and the wind pushed him down, baltay running up another tentacle beside skylar. oboiye held his shadow in place as he began to transform once more, baltay leaping up. he punched him, zeda lodging his axe into his cheek and leaping up in his frog form. he rolled in the air and landed atop of his head, skylar firing arrows above his eyelids.

oboiye strained, turning as a large piece of iceberg flew towards him.

"move!" he warned the opavian atop of dee as he raised his hand, stopping the shadow of the iceberg as a piece of rock was hurled through it. it exploded through the ice and oboiye fell back to dodge it, rolling backwards and squatting to glare at amaya. she panted furiously, her fist bleeding as she raised her hand, the ice below him crumbling. it lifted up as kendrick shot forward, his scythe drawn to lash out for her but a piece of ice threw him aside. the ice below oboiye began to sink underneath the water, kierra gritting her teeth. she looked back as dee rose and roared once more, chris closing his eyes to relay a message.
