We were walking down the street toward Atlantia's house from the spot that the Shield van dropped us off at. I figured it wouldn't be smart to be dropped off right at the front of her house. I was sort of surprised to see she was living in a pretty normal neighborhood but I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. It would be better for her to stay hidden that she had no parents to live with if she was in a neighborhood like this.

When her house came into view, I saw her waiting on her front porch. She was sitting on a porch chair that she had there. I noticed something as I walked up her driveway. Her eyes showed a brokenness that I have only seen on anyone who have been in a war. It was a soldier's eyes and it was eery to see it on her face.

"Atlantia?" I ask stopping a little bit away from her.

"So, you figured out where I live." She says bitterly, "I'm guessing Thor told you."

"I did." Thor said stepping forward, "But only because you need a family , my daughter. You will kill yourself if you continue like this. You can't keep living in the past." I see her glance over my shoulder so I do the same and I realize a crowd had begun to form because we were here.

"Let's talk inside." Atlantia announces. Her face had sort of soften with Thor's proclamation that he did it for health. I wonder what her story is that caused her to lose her family. She was only thirteen. All kids need a family of some sort. I followed Atlantia into her home. It was really nice. I wonder how she is getting money because this house had to be expensive especially here in the middle of the city. She led us into the kitchen and immediately I saw her coffee machine begin to make a cup of coffee.

"Anyone want any?" She asks gesturing to the coffee maker.

"I'll take a cup." Tony immediately says. I roll my eyes at his coffee addiction. Another cup begins to be made from the coffee machine without any input from her. She sees me staring at the coffee machine.

"Did you tell them of my heritage, father?" Atlantia say to Thor with a raised eyebrow.

"I did." Thor responds. She nods.

"The coffee machine was a gift from Hephaustus. He knew I have a coffee addiction but he didn't want me to burn myself from the coffee machine so he sent me this." She explains. "It can sense when I want a cup of coffee and makes it to my taste. His coffee should be to his taste." Tony took a sip of his coffee and a smile lit up on his face and I knew she was right.

"So, Atlantia." I say trying to return us to the reason why we came here, "You know we want you to join the Avengers and its for two reasons. You obviously are a skilled fighter and someone who wants to protect others but we also want you to join because our boss is afraid you will join the wrong side."

She snorts at that, "That will never happen but I understand how that can be a worry."

"So will you join?" Natasha asks.

"I'll join." Atlantia concedes.

"Great," Tony says, "Pack some of your things and you can take them to the tower since everyone in the Avengers have a room well floor." After a moments pause, he adds, "And being that coffee maker too." He then leaves for a moment and I notice he is talking to Jarvis. He may be asking him to prepare a room for Atlantia.

Atlantia nods at that, "Would someone help me? There's a bunch of things I want to bring with me."

"I'll help." I say. Everyone else says the same thing so we all follow her down the hall and into a room filled with an assortment of pictures but these weren't any pictures. They were like snippets of videos in the frames showing the moment. Atlantia begun to put other items in a box like a skull ring and a shield which confused me.

"What is all this stuff?" I ask her.

"Memories." Is all she says. She looks at Thor, "Did you tell them my story?"

Thor shakes his head, "No, I don't know the full story so I thought I allow you to tell it."

"This," She gestures to the room, "will make sense when you know my story."

"And what is your story?" Clint said asking question that we have all been thinking.

"I'll tell it once we get to the Avengers Tower." Atlantia replies, "It is quite long and my house is not suitable to house a story time with this many people." I nod my head in agreement before finishing packing all of her keepsakes and photos. Once we did, I called Shield to pick us up and drive us to the Avengers Tower.
