Chapter 14: Tony

I watched as the doctors took Clint off to the medical wing and Thor take the scepter to the lab. Steve walked off with Maria discussing the two enhanced individual and judging by his face as he walks away he does not understand a thing. I looked over Atlantia who collapsed during the flight from overuse of her powers. I wrapped my arms under her shoulders and legs and carried her to her room so she would awake comfortably on her bed instead of the chair on the quinjet.

"Jarvis, when she awakes, would you tell her about the party I am having tonight and she is required to be there." I asked Jarvis. After hearing a yes sir, I walked toward the medical bay to see how Clint was doing and then I would head to the lab to examine the scepter.

Point of View Change: Atlantia

I awoke and found myself in my room so I figured one of the Avengers brought me here to regain some energy. I was still very weak but I can do daily functions so I got out of bed.

"Ah you're awake Ms. Atlantia. Mr. Stark wanted me to tell you that you are required to attend the party that he will be hosting tonight." Jarvis said.

"Thanks Jarvis. Do you know when the party will start." I asked.

"Sir said around 7pm."

" Thank you do you know what time it is currently and where the Avengers are at?"
"It is currently 6:23pm and Thor is in his room, Natasha, Clint and Steve, are in the kitchen, and Tony and Bruce are in the lab and I will be alerting them that they should get ready as should you Ms. Atlantia."

"Thanks Jarvis." I went to go take a quick shower but I ended up taking a half hour shower so I knew I was going to be late but I didn't care. I used my powers to do my makeup and hair. I then looked at my dresses but found nothing that suited me so I used my powers again even though I should not be using them to create a dress that was a royal blue that had the sleeve hang off the shoulder and had a slit in the skirt which went to the ground. I looked at the phone and realized it was 7:30 so I slipped on some heels and walked to the elevator to join the party. When the elevator door opened, I saw Thor and Tony talking to Rhodey aka the war machine about something. I was about to join them when I saw the falcon and Steve playing pool. I went to join them.

"Hey Steve. Sorry I am late." I said when I reached them.

" Hey Atlantia. You are fine. You can't be late to a party when it's in the place where you live. Here let me intoduce you officially to the Falcon aka Sam Wilson." Steve said gesturing to the guy next to him.

"Hey it's nice to meet you." I say shaking his hand.

"Its nice to meet you as well." He says smiling at me. They continue to play pool while making small talk with me and the other people gathered around. After Steve wins the game, the two of them head up the stairs to overlook the party so I mingle with the other guests before eventually making my way over to Thor. We spent the rest of the party talking before all of the Avengers plop down on the coaches next to us. I could tell that most of them were drunk and then Clint starts talking about how Thor's hammer is a trick and Thor tells him he can try to pick it up. Everyone begins to offer encouragement but Clint ends up not being able to life the hammer which leads to the other Avengers trying. Stark tries next without his suit's hand and then with the suit's hand. After that doesn't work, he recruits Rhodey to try to lift it but both of them are not able to life it. Bruce then tries it but fails. Steve tried next and was able to move it a little which I noticed made Thor lose his smile but in the end was unable to pick it up.

"Nat, you try." Bruce said.

"Oh no. That is not a question I need answered." She said taking a sip from her drink . "Atlantia how about you try." They all said their agreement and I looked toward my father to make sure it was ok. He gestured to the hammer so I got up and placed my hands on the handle. Before I tried to lift it, I heard the other Avengers saying that I would probably not be able to lift it. I felt right away that I could lift it but I feigned difficulty to build tension before picking it up. They all looked shocked that I could lift it.

"How can she can lift it but we cannot." Clint said shocked.

"She probably can lift it because she is Thor's child." Tony said

"That is a very very interesting theory but I have a simpler one. You are all not worthy." Thor said taking the hammer from me. There were a lot of shouts of disapprovals and a lot of "c'mons". But then I heard this really high pitch noise that made me collapse in pain onto the floor since I was still weak from the earlier fight. Then the noise abruptly stops but my brain is still wrecked so I fall into unconscious with visions of the future flashing before my eyes.
