Chapter 20: Atlantia

Natasha lets me and Steve disembark from the quinjet on the roof of the U-Gin Genetic Research Lab roof before flying off. We were walking toward the staircase when Steve says to Natasha and Clint," Two minutes, stay close." We finally reached the lab and I see Dr. Cho injured on the ground.

" Steve found her." I yell at him.

"Dr. Cho." Steve says running over to her.

"He's uploading himself into the body." Dr.Cho says weakly.

"Where?" Steve asks.

"The real power is inside the Cradle. The gem, its power is uncontainable.You can't just blow it up. You have to get the cradle to Stark." Dr. Cho continues.

"First we have to find it." Steve says looking at me.

" Go," I tell him," I will heal her, get her somewhere safe then I will find you." He nods and runs out the door. I take out my comms from my ear since it would only distract me from my task at hand. I take a closer look at her injuries and realize they aren't that serious so I wouldn't lose too much energy from healing her. I took a breath and began to sing.

Ocean hear my cry.

let your power in me shine

Reverse the clock

heal what once was fine

Save the one who was hurt

Change the fate's design

heal what once was fine

Bring back what once was mine

Once I finished I looked over at her and saw her wounds heal themselves.

"Does anywhere still hurt?" I ask her. She shakes her head and begins to get up. I stand up and take out my nectar and take a swig of it because I still feel drained from the healing.

"What is that?" Dr. Cho says looking at me.
"Its nectar. It can only heal demigods. If a mortal like yourself drank it, you would burn up from the inside. I don't mean to sound degrading but its meant to be a drink the gods drink which means if I wasn't part god, I would be dead. I can go into more details later but we need to get out of here."I tell her.

"I am going to hold you to that." She says smiling at me and handing me my comm.

I put it back in my ear to hear Steve say,"What do you think I've been doing?" I grab Dr. Cho's hand and shadow travel us to Clint's farmhouse. I walk up to the door and open it.

"Laura are you home." I call out. She comes walking out of the kitchen.
"Atlantia is something wrong what are you doing back here so soon?" Laura asks me confused.

" I need a favor. Can Dr. Cho stay here until Ultron is not a threat? I put protected veils so only the people you trust can get through." I ask her. Laura nods her head in agreement so I formally introduce the two and tell them that once Ultron wasn't a threat I will be back. Then I shadow traveled to Steve. I found him on a train with the Maximoffs twins. I get into a fight stance but stop when Steve gives me a look.

" They are on our side now. They tried to stop Ultron." Steve said looking at me for a reaction.
" Oh did that already happen?" I ask looking around.

" Yes," Pietro said looking confused.

"She can explain later, we have a train to stop." Steve interrupts," We have civilians in our path." Immediately Pietro shoots off to get them out of the way.

" Can you stop this thing?" Steve asked looking me and Wanda. Wanda immediately tried to use her power to stop the train. It began to slow but not enough. I took a breath and closed my eyes. I used my powers to immediately stop the train. The train came to a halt. Wanda immediately runs out to an exhausted Pietro.
"I'm fine... Just...need to...take a...minute." Pietro said in between breaths.

"I'm very tempted not to give you one." Steve said walking over to them.

"The Cradle, did you get it." Wanda asked. I turned to Steve for an answer hoping he did or we will be going toward a very bad future.

"Stark will take care of it." Steve answers. I breathe out a sigh of relief because it seems we are on the right track.

" No he won't." Wanda replied a little tense.

"You don't know what you are talking about, Stark's not crazy." Steve shot back defensive of his teammate.

"He will do anything to make things right." Wanda stated. Steve tensed at this and began to shout into the comms.

"Stark,come in. Stark! Anyone on comms."

"Ultron can't tell the difference between saving the world and destroying it. Where do you think he got that?" Wanda asked.

"Atlantia teleport us to Stark tower now." Steve said looking at me but then realized I was on the verge of collapsing.

I looked at him and said," Give me a minute and I can shadow travel us there." I found a source of water and stuck my hand it it and immediately felt a lot more energy. I turned to the three of them and offered my hands. Steve took my right ,Pietro took my left and Wand held onto both Steve and Pietro. I walked us toward an alley then closed my eyes and let the shadows envelope us.
