Chapter 21: Atlantia

When I opened my eyes and stepped out of the shadows, I saw Tony and Bruce working on the cradle.

Steve then steps in front of me and says, "I am going to say this once."

"How about nonce?" Tony says sarcastically.

"Shut it down." Steve continues angrily.

"Nope not going to happen." Tony said continuing to work.

"You don't know what you are doing." Steve argues.

"And you do? She's not in your head?" Bruce says joining into the argument.

"I know your angry." Wanda said trying to calm everyone down.

"Oh we're way past that. I could choke the life out of you and not change a shade." Bruce said with hatred.

"Banner after everything that's happen..." Steve begins.

"That's nothing compared to what's coming!" Tony yells interrupting Steve.

"You don't know what's in there." Wanda said panicking.

"This isn't a game..." Steve states.

"The creature..." Wanda begins but gets interrupted when Pietro began to run around the lab braking all the lab equipment.

"No,no. Go on. You were saying?" Pietro says smirking. Then I see Barton shoot bullets at the glass under Pietro's feet and he falls through. I cushion his fall because it won't help the future if he's injured.

"Pietro!!!" Wanda screams in concern.

" What? You didn't see that coming?" Clint smirked.

Bruce turned to Wanda during this,"Go ahead piss me off." I see Thor enter and he walks up to the cradle and hits it with his hammer. Everyone screams to stop or to wait but I just smile because I know that the right path is happening. A body flys out of the cradle and lands next to me.
He turns around and says," I'm sorry. That was...odd." He then turns to Thor and says," Thank you."

" Thor you helped create this?" Steve asked looking at him in disbelief.

"I've had a vision," Thor boomed,"A whirlpool that sucks in all hope of life and at its center is that." He points to the gem in the robot's head.

"What, the gem?" Bruce asked.

"Its the mind stone." I state standing up from the chair I had collapsed in. "It's one of the Infinity Stones, the greatest power in the universe, unparalleled in its destruction capabilities."

"Then why Thor, would you bring it to..." Steve said confused.

"Because Stark is right." Thor states like that would clear everything up.

"Oh its definitely the end of times." Bruce says sarcastically.

"The Avengers cannot defeat Ultron." Thor states.

"Not alone." The robot aka Vision adds.

"Why does your vision sound like Jarvis?" Steve asked after recognizing the voice.

"We...we reconfigured Jarvis's matrix to create something new." Tony answers.

"I think I've had my fill of new." Steve said honestly.

"You think I am a child of Ultron?" Vision asks hurt.

"Your not?" Steve asked disbelief in his voice.

"I'm not Ultron. I'm not Jarvis. I am...I am." Vision answers.

"I looked into your head and saw annihilation." Wanda said fearfully and angrily.

"Look again." Vision requested.

"Yeah. Her seal of approval means jack to me." Clint bluntly states.

"What about my seal of approval?" I say stepping close to Vision." I have seen the future and I can't say much about it or something bad would happen instead but you have to trust me that Vision is on our side and will help us." I look at each person to emphasize my point.

Then after a moment, Bruce steps forward and addresses Vision,"If she is wrong about you, if your the monster that Ultron made you to be..."

"What would you do," Vision says curious but then continues once he realizes they would kill him,"I don't want to kill Ultron. He's unique, and he's in pain.But that pain will roll over the earth, so he must be destroyed. Every form he's built, every trace of his presence on the net, we have to act now. And not one of us can do it without the others. Maybe I am a monster. I don't think I'd know if I was one. I'm not what you are, and not what you intended. So there may be no way to make you trust me, but we need to go." As he finishes his speak, he holds out Thor's hammer for him to take. After Thor takes it, Vision walks out of the room. Everyone but me stares at him shocked. Vision catches my eye as he walks out of the room amd looks at me curiously before leaving the room.

"Right." Thor says breaking the silence.He pats Tony's back and says,"Well done."

"Three minutes." Steve takes charge,"Get what you need." Everyone scatters to do what they need to prep. Steve walks up to me and asks,"Are you able to particpate in this mission?"

I look him straight in the eye," In order for the right future to happen, I have to come, even if I am not physically ready." He nods and walks off to prepare for the mission. I stare after him before going to do the same. I hope we survive this.
