LIA'S POV

'HOLY CRAP 'PLEASE DON'T TELL ME THAT WAS REAL!' I'm panicking my heart out! I can't believe I saw that!

Before I tell you anymore, let me tell you how it all began.

This morning I was getting ready to go to my new school. I walked to the main office in awe. This school was like a mansion! Much bigger than my old highschool.

After meeting the super weird principal, I started walking towards my first period class. I ended up being five minutes late because I got lost. I walked into the classroom and froze as everyone's eyes turned towards me.

"Is this Mr. Dolph/ English?"

The man who I was guessing was Mr. Dolph was a short plump man. He was wearing a nice dressy shirt with a tie that looked like it was strangling him.

He also had one of those funny moustaches that makes me think of Mario.

"Well isn't it nice of you to join us " He said with a rude tone.

'Go suck on some mushrooms, Mario!' I said in my mind.

Great my first day and I already have a teacher pissed at me.

'Way to go Lia!' I scolded myself mentally.

By the way my name is Lia I have chocolate eyes and I'm 17. This is my senior year and my dad's the job moved him to a whole new state which meant I had to move. I have curly brown hair and eyes, and lightly tanned skin. OK, back to the story.

I sat down in an empty sit next to a pretty girl with blond hair and gray eyes. She had thousands of freckles all over her. She was wearing everything that had to do with Hello Kitty.

'Yay someone as weird as me!' I thought.

"Don't worry, he is like that to everyone. my name's Rebbecca." She said.

'OMG a friend!' Oh wait.

"My names Lia." I responded kinda late.

"Welcome to Texas."

The rest of the day went pretty well. I met Rebbecca's friends Joe, Kaylee, and Devonna. I have an lunch with them and I really liked them. Kaylee is the brains, black hair, glasses and nose piercing. Devonna the soccer girl, sandy hair, braces and chewed nails. And Joe the flirty skater boy, brown hair, blue eyes and muscular build.

After lunch I went to art with Kaylee and Joe.

'So far this school is awesome!'

Then came my last class of the day. Science, which I am bad at. I walked just before the bell rang and noticed that all the students separated into pairs.

'Oh great, we have lab partners!'

A painfully skinny lady wearing a gray sweater and a long pilgrim skirt walked in and started looking at some papers.

'Damn someone get that woman a burger!'

"Oh you must be our new student. Why don't you tell the class about yourself. " Skeleton lady's loud voice made me jump.

"OK um, I'm Lia. Moved here from New York. I'm 17, I like singing and food."

That made some of the kids chuckle.

" Since everyone else is already paired up I'm assigning you with Vincent."

I looked around the room for this mystery Vincent. I found the only empty seat next to a boy writing something in his notebook. His back was behind me so I could only see his cute short spiky black hair. His skin was very light which I thought was kinda strange considering that it's a billion degrees outside.

"Hi I'm Lia."

The boy turned towards me and I felt my heart stop. He was GORGEOUS! His eyes were a light hazel color. he was wearing a white short sleeved shirt that showed off his muscular figure. He also had on a dark hoodie that made him look like a player.I realized that he was saying something and I was there drooling like an idiot.

"Did you hear me, I said I'm Vincent."

His voice was so smooth and rich. It was deeper than I thought it would be, but suited him perfectly.

"Well it's nice to meet you Vincent." I have him a smile.

He just kept staring at me and I turned away because I couldn't keep myself from blushing.

Skelolady (that's my nickname for her) talked to us about our assignment. I couldn't concentrate because whatever Vincent was writing in his notebook was calling to me! I guess he noticed because he scowled at me.

"Do you mind?" he said in a low growl.

Woah, he just went from being cute to being a meanie. Time passed by and the bell rang. Vincent was in a hurry and got up super quick. He grabbed his books and when he started to leave I got up and he bumped into me making us both drop our books. He quickly grabbed his stuff and bolted out the classroom.

'Wow he didn't even apologized!'

I was picking up my books when I noticed something. I accidentally took Viincents notebook! I need to return this.... Right after I take a peek.

I opened the notebook and saw something I didn't expect. There were drawings not just drawings but beautiful drawings. His drawings seem to come alive. And the most recent one was of Skelolady. I giggled at her. She looked so life like.

'Crap I need to return this before he leaves!'

I started running outside spinning my head crazily look for Vincent.i just caught a glimpse of him turning the corner of the street. Since it was in the direction of my house I decided to follow him.

I started jogging towards him. After about five minutes I lost track of him. I suck at running. I just decided to give it to him tomorrow. I was about 10 minutes from my house when I passed a alley and I saw something move in the corner of my eye. It was Vincent, but who is that guy he's....... K-kissing!

OMG major disappointment! He's gay? Why is that man twitching so much? I crouched closer behind some garbage cans to get a better view.

He didn't see me yet. Wait he's not kissing him he's BITING HIS NECK!

(BACK TO PRESENT)

'I need to get out of here!'

I started backing up as quietly as possible.

SNAP

'I really needed to step on a twig now?!'

The dude who seemed to be Vincent turned towards me. His eyes glowed golden and he had fangs that were splattered with b-blood? He let go of the man and he fell two the floor with blood running down his neck. Vincent started walking towards me.

I turned and started running. as soon as I was about to scream I felt a hand over my mouth. I tried to get away but he or it was too strong.

He turned me around. His eyes seemed to glow. I started feeling dizzy. My legs were going numb.

"Sleep." he sounded like a complete different person.

Next thing I saw was darkness.
