LIA'S POV
It's so embarrassing having to tell Jessie everything we did yesterday. These were her questions.

"Did you guys interact in any way?"

Vincent gulped and I blushed hard.

"Well we kissed."

"And....." She asked raising her eyebrow.

"We, we had s-sex." I said in a quiet voice.

She nodded her head and wrote some things down.

"Protected or unprotected?"

"Jessie!"

"I just need to know how this happened Vincent. Stop being so snobby about it."

I finally remembered something.

"He also drank my blood." I pushed my hair back revealing the two faint scars Vincent left.

"That might be it but we need to prove this theory."

We were interrupted by Robert running in the room.

"Jessie I found it! It says that the cure will be found in the blood of, Vincent what happened to you?!"

"Well that proves it." Jessie said. "I still need some samples for testing."

She quickly had a small knife and cut me on the arm hard enough for some blood to drip. I winced as she wiped it up with a cloth. Her and Robert walked out the room and headed towards their lab. I sighed and leaned against Vincent.

"Is your arm okay?"

"Yeah it's fine."

I looked into his brown eyes.

"I can't believe that you're human again."

He kissed me softly and pulled me into a hug. I hugged him back and smiled. I can imagine a future for us. We can finish school and get jobs. Have a family. Grow old together.

"Let's go outside."

I held his hands as we walked down the long halls towards the back door. On the way we saw Megan and she scowled at me. I'm sure she'll be happy about the cure.
We went to the back of the house and saw Ethan laying in the grass. He saw us and smirked at me.

"Hey Lia. I heard you had fun last night with Vinny here."

I blushed hard and Vincent chased after him. After a few minutes
Vincent fell to the ground out of breath. I ran to his side as he struggled breathing.

"I missed being able to run out of breath. Feels great to be human."

I laid down next to him and kissed his cheek.

"I love your brown eyes though."

"I love yours too."

We starting making out and Ethan always has to ruin the mood.

"Yo get a room!"

"Yo get a girlfriend!" I responded annoyed.

He was going to say something but closed his mouth.

"Ouch." Vincent commented and I started laughing.

"Come on let's go get some food."

He helped me up and wrapped his arm around my waist as we walked back inside.

RANDOM COUNCILMEN'S POV
"We should get her now. Our leader wants her alive." I started walking out from the bushes but Robbie stopped me.

"Not now! We must wait until she's alone or at least with the boy now that he's cured. Then we will bring her."

"Okay Robbie." I said.

Soon we will get you.

VINCENT'S POV
Now that I'm human, food has flavor. I gulfed down my third plate of eggs and sausages. I sighed contently as the greasy goodness went down my throat.

"Damn breathe man." Ethan just had to say.

"You'll understand when you're cured dude."

He stuck out his tongue at me and I smirked at him.

The rest of the day was pretty boring. Lia and I walked around the library and read some books. Then Ethan went out for blood. I cringed my face.

"I'm glad I don't have to drink blood anymore."

"I am too."

I leaned down to kiss her but I heard something get knocked over. We turned our heads and saw Megan running out the room. I sighed and was gonna get up to talk to her but Lia stopped me.

"Maybe she need a girl to girl talk."

I nodded my head and she pecked my lips before she disappeared out the room.

LIA'S POV
Megan ran outside to the backyard. I saw her on the swings crying. I sat down on the swing next to her and touched her shoulder.

"Don't. Touch. Me."

I quickly pulled my hand back.

"Sweetie it's just something you will understand when you're older and in love."

"First of all I am 57 years old so don't ever call me sweetie again. Secondly I won't get older."

"There's a cure."

She looked at me with her big blue eyes.

"Really ill be able to get older and have kids?!"

I nodded my head and she got up and started twirling and jumping around happily. I laughed as. She fell dizzy. Then I felt something hit my head hard.

I fell to the ground and my sight started darkening. I felt something carrying me and I heard Megan screaming. I looked up and saw a boy with silver eyes taking me.
I tried to get out of his grip but something hit my head again and I saw nothing but black.
