LIA'S POV

I got a ride to school from Rebecca that morning, and yes I do know how to drive it's just that I'm saving up to buy my own car. I was wearing some purple leggings with a black miniskirt over. I had a grey blouse with short sleeves. To finish the look I wore my black leather boots.

Rebecca wore a hot pink crop top with blue skinny jeans, and cream colored sandals. she finished it off with a hello kitty hat.

"I love the hat." I said teasingly.

"Thank you isn't it to die for!" she responded dramatically.

I thanked her for the ride and we both separated to go to our lockers. As I was getting the books that I needed for 1st period I heard a girl nearby saying:

"-hey sexy,aren't you gonna ask me something?"

I looked toward the direction of the voice and I saw a girl wearing something that would get me expelled at my old school.

She hap a red tube top, the shortest miniskirt ever, and heels so high my feet started hurting just by looking at it. Her dirty blond hair had streaks of brown highlights in it and her makeup reminded me of a clown. She was leaning on some lockers talking to...VINCENT?!

Vincent was standing there, obviously annoyed by the girl. He was wearing a blue and green shirt, dark jeans and black shoes. I couldn't help thinking how hot he was. The girl seemed to be blocking his locker and was trying to get his attention.

"I think the only thing I need to ask you is to get off my locker."

The girl looked shocked and moved to the side. I giggled a bit but my smile subsided when she put her hand on his arm.

"Well," she said sweetly as she traced her finger up and down his arm. "I thought it had something to do with the winter dance."

VINCENT'S POV

I can't believe this girl was really thinking I would think about taking her out. This would be about the 100th time she mentioned the dance and it's really annoying me now. She's one of those rich spoiled girls who slept with half the school.

Out of the corner of my eye I see Lia at her locker looking at me and Maria. I see something in her face that makes me smile. Jealousy and anger. (I'm making one of his powers the ability to read minds through facial expressions)

I turn my attention back to Maria, who is tracing her finger on my arm. I grabbed her hand and pull it off of me. She looks at me and smiles thinking that I just want to hold her hand.

"First, for the 100th time I'm not even thinking about taking a slut to the dance." I say letting go of her hand roughly. "And secondly, never put your filthy human hands on me!"

I walk away from her and go towards Lia.

LIA'S POV

I stared in disbelief. I can't believe that Vincent said that. The girl who I found out was Maria looked like her head was going to explode. I get even more surprised when he starts walking towards me. I tried walking the other way but I felt someone grab my hand and before I know it I'm face to face with two beautiful hazel eyes.

I felt my cheeks get hot and I take a step back pulling my arm back.

"H-hey Vincent."

He ran his hand through his hair nervously. Why would a guy like Vincent be nervous? But I have to admit, his nervous face was so cute!

"Hey Lia. I just wanted to um, apologize for yesterday."

I tried to remember what he was referring to. Then I remembered that he ran into me.

"Oh you mean at the end of the day? No it's fine, it was no big deal."

"Oh ok. I just didn't want you to think I was a douche." He said while smiling. I'm not sure if I'm right but I think of saw relief in his eyes.

"Well I'll see you in class then." With that he started walking away.

"Oh wait!" I reached in my bag and pulled out his notebook. I walked slowly to him and handed it to him As he grabbed it our hands touched I know that this sounds cheesy but my heart fluttered.

"Thank you." He said smiling again. "Did you look in it?"

I swear I started blushing. I hate myself. I was going to respond when-

"I wouldn't have minded if you did." He said while giving me a wink. He walked away and I noticed a very pissed Maria trying to kill me with her eyes. I stuck my tongue out at her. She rolled her eyes and started strutting away.

Screw her. I don't really care. I walked to my first class with the biggest smile on my face.
