Chapter 13

LIA'S POV
When I woke up the boys were still sleeping. I brushed my teeth and changed into a nice green top, blue jeans and black converse. I heard a knock on my bedroom door and I went to open it. Jessie was on the other side holding a flask filled with an icy blue liquid.

"I think I found it!" She said excitedly.

"Wow that's great!"

"But first," (let me take a selfie SIKE)

She pulled a piece of my hair out and put it in the flask.

"Ow!" I said as I rubbed my head in pain.

"Let's go test this out."

VINCENT'S POV
I felt someone nudging my shoulder. I woke up and saw Jessie and Lia in my room. Jessie was holding some potion and Lia was staring at me. I forgot that I didn't had a shirt on. I smirked at her and she blushed and looked away.

"I need you to drink this." Jessie said pushing the potion to my face. I sat up and looked at it cautiously.

"What are the side effects of it doesn't work?" I asked.

"Headaches, cramps, memory lost and possibly death." She responded whispering that last part. I decided to grow a pair and chugged it down.

It tasted awful. Then all of a sudden the room started growing bigger.

LIA'S POV
Vincent started shrinking. I started screaming and Ethan woke up falling to the floor. Vincent shrunk until he was hidden under the blanket. I flung the blanket off and saw an adorable little black bunny with hazel eyes.

"Oh my God! Vincent looks so cute as a bunny!" I yelled picking him up and stroking his fur.

"Aunt Jessie turn me back!" He screamed in a little high pitched voice.

"Ok calm down!" She said rolling her eyes. Ethan went to use the bathroom. Jessie took Vincent from my arms and put him under the blanket. She said a few chants and snapped her fingers. The bump under the blanket grew until it was Vincent's size. He peeked his head out of the blanket.

"Now can you guys get out please?"

I saw that his pajama pants were still on the floor. He was naked?! I blushed hard and walked out the room awkwardly. Jessie came right behind me.

"Well back to researching." She said annoyed.

VINCENT'S POV
I have never been so embarrassed in my life. Lia was just carrying me when I was basically naked. I brushed my teeth and changed to go downstairs. Lia was in the kitchen eating, Jessie was in the library, and Ethan was watching Cartoon Network.

I sat down next to her. She blushed cause she knew I was staring at her and stopped eating.

"Are you hungry? I can make you some eggs."

I shook my head. I wasn't that hungry. At least not for food. And before you start thinking dirty, I was starving for some blood. I haven't drank in about a day. I walked to the living room to see if Ethan wanted to go out. He nodded and got up. I went back into the kitchen to check on Lia.

"We'll be right back. Just going to drink."

She cringed her nose and nodded.

LIA'S POV
The boys are gone and Jessie is in the library. What am I supposed to do?!

ETHAN'S POV
We started walking back but Vincent stopped at a shop.

"I'll be right back." He said before he disappeared into the store.

I leaned against the building and just watched the clouds passing by. I heard some screaming and looked across the street.

There was a pretty girl with jet black hair and dark eyes arguing with a man in a different language. Chinese maybe. He pushed her roughly to the ground and I ran over and punched him.

"Now that is no way to treat a lady." I said pulling him up by his collar.

He shoved me away and lunged at me. I easily dodged him and punched him again. He wiped some blood from his mouth and walked away. I turned and helped the girl up. She was prettier up close. She realized that I was staring at her and blushed.

"Thank you. How can I repay you?"

"Well first you can tell me your name." I said smirking. She blushed again.

"I'm Mei."

"Nice to meet you Mei. I'm Ethan. Do you live around here?" I asked.

She nodded. "I live a few blocks from here. I've lived in this town my whole life." She sounded sad when she said that. I see Vincent walking out of the store.

"Well I guess I'll see you around then." I said winking at her. She smiled and waved goodbye. When I got close the Vincent he elbowed me.

"I leave for five minutes and you're already hitting on a girl."

I just rolled my eyes. As we were walking I turned my head. She did too. We made eye contact for a few seconds. She smiled and looked away. I hope I'll see her again.

VINCENT'S POV
I walked in the house and saw Lia levitating some chairs. She saw me and dropped the furniture.

"I got bored and peeked through Jessie's spell book."

I chuckled. Ethan went upstairs. I walked over to Lia and handed her a box. She opened it and saw the necklace I got her.

"Oh my god! Vincent its beautiful!"

She lifted her hair as I put it in her. The necklace was silver and had a heart in the middle. She hugged me and I kissed her head.

"Let's go out." I said out of nowhere.

"Wait what?" She asked looking up at me.

I smiled and held her hands. "Lia will you go on a date with me?"

She blushed and said, "I would love to but is it safe?"

"Yea. It will only be a few hours. I just want to get out of this house."

She nodded her head. "Ok but let me get ready." She ran up the stairs.

LIA'S POV
I showered and brushed my hair. I put on a pretty purple dress that Jessie gave me and headed downstairs.

I saw Vincent waiting for me. He changed too. Probably took a shower because his hair was wet and he smelled like honey and cologne. I was still wearing the necklace he gave me. He opened the door and we headed out, hand in hand.

VINCENT'S POV
We went to a restaurant to eat lunch. We talked about ourselves. I learned that she liked ballet and horror movies and she learned my real age and that liked to sing.

After we ate we went to the movies to watch Annabelle. Lia squeezed my hand whenever something popped out. I wrapped my arm around her and watched the rest of the movie.

We walked around the neighborhood on our way back to Jessie's house. We were about ten minutes away when I heard someone say,

"Lia?"

We turned around and Lia's eyes widened.

"Rebecca?"
