Bloody Secrets

Chapter 19

VINCENT'S POV
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE'S GONE?!"

"Robbie and some other vampire took her. I called him yesterday but I didn't know he was gonna take her. I don't know where they went. I'm so sorry." Megan said in a soft voice.

"You called him?! When were you going to tell us Megan?" Robert asked.

"I didn't think it was important."

I couldn't control myself and I punched a hole in the wall next to me. I left a dent and my knuckles bled a little. I just sucked up the blood. It didn't taste as good as when I was a vampire, but it was bad. I felt tears come to my eyes and I fell to the ground.

Suddenly Jessie gasped and fell to the floor. Her brown eyes turned black, like they did when she had visions. After about five minutes, her eyes turned back to normal.

"I know where she is.

"Good, we have to save her." I demanded.

"I'll go." Robert said.

"Me too." Ethan added.

"As will I but Cassandra you must stay and care for Megan." Jessie said.

Cassandra nodded. Robert hugged Megan and kissed Cassandra. They started walking to the door and I followed. Jessie stopped me just before I walked out.

"You're staying Vincent."

"No! I have to go Jessie. Please!"

"I'm sorry. You're human now and you don't have your powers anymore. We can't lose you too." She said sadly not daring to look me in the eyes.

I stared at her until she closed the fore on my face. I walked angrily to my room. I heard footsteps following me so I pinned whoever it was to the wall. Megan's surprised faced stared back at me. Even though she's stronger then me now, she took it by surprise.

"What do you want?!" I growled.

She looked at me scared. I saw tears in the corner of her eyes.

"V-Vincent I'm so s-sorry."

I let go of her and turned away.

"I love her Megan."

"I know. And I know how to help you."

I was going to ask her how but she turned me around and stood on her tip toes. For a second I thought she was going to kiss me.

"Megan?"

Next thing I knew her fangs were in my neck and I felt her venom coursing through my veins.

LIA'S POV
I woke up in a dark room. It kinda looked like one of those dungeons you see in castles. My arms were chained to the wall and my head was still sore. I rubbed it and found dry blood in my hair.

"Finally she awakens." A male voice said.

I squinted my eyes but I couldn't see through the darkness.

"Show yourself you bastard!" I screamed into the dark.

"Tsk Tsk Tsk. Poor child. You don't realize how worried you had me. I thought we would never catch you. Now that I have you I will make sure that you wish you were never born."

A man with greying brown hair and icy blue eyes came into my view. He was holding a knife I think. Twirling it in his hands. I don't know why but I started laughing.

"What are you doing? Stop it!"

That just made me laugh harder. Tears were streaming down my face and I clutched my stomach.

"I said stop!" The man slapped me across my face and I spit some blood out.

"Even if you kill me, they already have samples of the cure. It won't die with me."

He screamed in frustration and slapped me again. I snickered a bit watching him freak out. He grabbed me by my throat and I stopped.

"I won't kill you now. I know that they will come for you, and when they do you will have the pleasure of watching them die. And it will be all your fault."

He punched me hard and darkness consumed me.

VINCENT'S POV
Turning is far worse than any knife of pain you can imagine. It feels like being stabbed in the gut hundreds of times as it kills you and mutates your body.

I fell to the floor and closed my eyes. Megan held my hand which I used to grip hers. I grunted in pain and finally the pain stopped. I opened my eyes gasping for air as my vampire senses kicked in. Megan wiped my blood from her mouth.

"You should go follow them before they get too far." She said.

I nodded and git up feeling a surge if energy.

"Thank you." I said as I hugged her tightly.

She hugged me back gripping to my shirt with her hands. I kissed her cheek and she blushed. I ran out the front door.
