Bloody Secrets

Chapter 12

Hey guys! I really liked writing this chapter! I hope you guys like it too!

LIA'S POV
I screamed in horror as the demon dolls were dragging me to the witch. Than out of nowhere, the dolls were flying and they were thrown into a tree. I stood up quickly and saw Jessie and Ethan running towards us. Vincent finished killing his batch of dolls and ran to my side.

"Oh no you got me!" Mikela said sarcastically. She snapped again and two more dolls appeared. Bigger and more vicious than the others. Mikela started running but Vincent chased her.

"I'll get her! Stay here and protect Lia!" He screamed as he followed her into the woods.

VINCENT'S POV
I ran after her until I lost her in the trees. I turned my head every direction but I couldn't find her.

"You think that you'll keep her safe?!"

Her voice rang loudly in my ears and I groaned in pain.

"I'm not the only one looking for her! Soon she will be dead, and it will be your fault!"

I felt a burning sensation on my back. I screamed in pain and fell to the ground. She appeared in front of me and kicked my face. I spit blood out.

ETHAN'S POV
Mom was doing her best to keep the demons back but they were too strong for her powers. One smacked her and she flew back several feet. I tried to run to her only to be smacked myself. The one who smacked me pinned me to the ground and was about the bite my face off until Lia came from behind it and whacked it in the head with a tree branch.

"Get off of him you demon bastard!" She screamed while smacking it hard. It turned to her and was about to grab her but I pushed it off if me and grabbed him by the neck. I felt my fangs come out and I bit into its neck. It turned into dust and crumbled.

"Ethan!"

I ran to my mom who was casting spells on the demon to delay it from reaching her. She tripped and it picked her up and pinned her to a tree by her neck. I flitted as fast as I could to her and tackled the demon to the ground.

I threw punches but it grabbed my arm and broke it with a snap. I saw my blood gushing out and I blacked out.

LIA'S POV
I ran to Jessie's side. She had cuts and and scratches on her and was unconscious. I heard a sickening crack and I saw Ethan on the ground with blood coming from his arm. The demon doll stood up and started walking towards me. I started screaming because I knew that I was gonna die. It grabbed me by my throat and was going to bite my face when it turned into dust and crumbled to the ground.

VINCENT'S POV
{Five minutes ago}
I spit out blood and tried to charge at her but she picked me up with her powers and threw me into a tree.

"You can't save her! That pathetic whore will soon die!"

I felt something that I never felt before. My eyes glowed gold and my fangs came out. I suddenly felt energy and I ran to her and tackled her to the ground.

"SHE'S NOT A PATHETIC WHORE!"

She looked scared now and tried to get me off of her but I pinned her to the ground.

"I'll see you in the afterlife." I growled. I couldn't even recognize my voice.

I bit into her neck and ripped half of it off. I saw the color in her eyes drain. She turned into ashes. I spit on them and started limping back.

Once I got there I saw Lia trying to wake Ethan, who was bleeding out in the ground. I saw Jessie waking up against a tree. She saw Ethan and started screaming. She ran to him and started healing his wounds.

Lia saw me and ran to me. I hugged her tightly. I didn't want to let her go but the sun was setting.

LIA'S POV
We got to Jessie's house and the boys were put to rest. Ethan's arm was in a cast and Vincent got some stitches. I cleaned Jessie's wounds and she did mine.

It was pretty quiet the rest of the night. Jessie went back to the library to research the cure. I got some food to bring to the boys.

Ethan was sleeping and Vincent was reading a book. He put it down and smiled at me. I put their food on the dresser and sat on the bed in between Vincent's legs.

"I'm really sorry." I said quietly. I felt tears coming to my eyes. Damn it Lia don't cry!

"Everything that happened today was my fault." I couldn't help it. Tears ran down my face. Vincent hugged me an wiped my tears.

"Don't blame yourself. We're fine."

I put my head on his lap. We just laid there until I went to bed.

VINCENT'S POV
After she left I changed into my pajamas and laid in my bed. I thought about what the witch said. Will I be able to keep her safe? Soon my eyelids felt heavy and I let my dreams consume me.
