Katsuki took this opportunity to search for the young teen. He would ask Aunt Inko to visit, then as he would ask to use the bathroom, he would search Izuku's room for the diary. The blonde gave Aunt Inko some bentos, then they sat down and talked for a while. He had to admit: it was nice talking to her. He remembered when she'd tell him about Izuku's dreams of becoming a hero when they were just small children. That only broke him further.
As he went to 'use' the bathroom, he couldn't help but notice how Izuku's room was stripped of all the All Might merch he had before. It was plain and boring, lifeless- just like his emerald eyes when his crimson orbs met with the other's. Dull, lifeless.

Plain. Boring.

Just like his room back at home.

He rummaged through the room, in search of the stack of books. They were under his bed, of course. Perhaps he was trying to hide his secrets, or to forget about his own desires.

And there it was, the diary. Blood-stained yet pristine and crisp. He felt shivers run down his spine as he turned the pages. His eyes landed upon a blood smothered piece of paper. His crimson orbs widened at the sight and he felt a cold breath land on his neck.

"I wouldn't do that, if I were you."
