I do not own Fairytail

Lucy / Kiera P.O.V

Everyday, after my routine, I train physically and in magic. I started stretching and took off for a run. I always run 10 laps in the woods. The distance that I run is as long as 4 soccer fields. Kuno would sometimes run with me but most of the time, he watches the forest and tracks my laps. On my eighth lap, Kuno joined me, running by my side. After I finished all my laps, I took a 10 minute water break, then resumed to my training. After my laps, I do 50 push ups, 50 sit ups, 50 jumping jacks and 50 pull ups(with a tree branch). Then, after these exercises, I practice my combat skills with an old, worn out dummy. Loke and Capricorn gave it to me when they found out that I am practicing my punches and kicks with a tree trunk. I wrap bandages around my hands and arms, up to my elbows, but I still get cuts and scratches afterwards. Not that I care, but my spirits do, so I just gave in and accepted the little ' gift '. I take a fifteen-minute break to cool my body down for the next part : Magic.

Focus. Kuno looked at me, straight in the eye. Yeah, I know. Don't worry, Kuno. I looked back at him reassuringly. I sat down on the ground, and closed my eyes. Breathe in. Breathe out. Empty your mind and focus on your magic power, I said to myself. I feel my magic power increasing, and a bright light appeared. Opening my eyes, I saw Taurus, Cancer, Aquarius and Gemini in front of me. I'm improving, and I will summon all my spirits. Closing my eyes once again, I concentrated on my power and another bright light appeared. When I opened my eyes, Capricorn, Loke and Aries joined the group.

"Hime-sama, please rest." Aries said, fidgeting a bit. The rest of the spirits nodded in approval, concern clearly written on their faces. "I'm fine." I said, then stood up and walked over to Kuno. He growled lowly. Partner, I think it's time for you to rest. Besides, you need your energy tomorrow. He said. Thinking about it, I nodded once and my spirits went back to their world. I picked up the tortured doll and headed to the small river. Kuno followed me but I looked at him and merely shook my head, telling him that I can go alone and that he needs to guard the forest. Kuno bowed his head and took off, while I headed for the river, in the opposite direction. Walking, I saw a group of colourful mushrooms and remembered the mushroom Natsu, Gray and Happy ate that gave them mushroom heads. I clenched my fists at the memory. What did I do wrong? Why would they betray me? What happened? What changed?

Questions barged in my mind and pain erupted in my chest, but I kept moving. When I arrived, I fell down, my knees hurting a bit from the impact. How could they do this to me? Why would they betray their own nakama? Even though I'm used to being alone, I still feel the constant pain of sadness and betrayal. I may be emotionless outside, but inside, I am crying and screaming from the pain they caused. I feel so helpless, so pathetic, asking for their help even though they are the one who caused the pain. I quickly washed the doll and rewrapped the bandages on my arms. I shut my eyes and welcomed the dark, blank space. I felt the power inside of me grow stronger as I concentrated on my magic. This time, there will be no distractions. This time, I won't hold back. This is for you, Fairytail, for what you did to me.

When I opened my eyes, they shined and turned from my pale grey orbs to striking silver grey eyes. My hands clasped together and I chanted a spell that I've been practicing for months now:

From the Gates of Heaven

I ask thee to lend thy wondrous power

To avenge the sorrow

Of my fellow comrades

Oh, Cassiopeia

Queen of the stellar sky

STELLAR METEOR!!

A bright white light engulfed my surroundings and a few moments later, the light died down. When it was clear again, many trees were burned and broken. The whole area was a mess. I feel proud but showed no signs about it. Kuno, a few moments later, appeared and stood in front of me protectively, scanning the area for intruders or any dangers. Petting and stroking his head, I told him that is was all me. Finally, after so many months of practice, I did it. I casted Stellar Meteor, one of the powerful spells for a celestial wizard like me. Maybe it worked because my emotons triggered the spell. I am so proud of myself.

Grrr. . . Kuno growled all of a sudden, looking around the surroundings. Concentrating, I found out that two strong magical auras are heading our way. So I ran to our hut, Kuno following closely behind. Partner, what about the river and your dummy? he asked telepathically. There's no time! I answered cutting through the trees. I have to protect our home first, our territory. I don't care if they saw the damage that I did. I don't care about the stupid, useless dummy my spirits gave me. Hell, I don't care if they are mages, or Fairytail mages too. As long as me and Kuno are safe and hidden, we'll be fine, I thought to my self, and swiftly put my cloak on. When we reached our home, I boosted the last drop of magic energy to myself so I can use basic air magic to reach my hut. When I reached the top, I scrambled to the kitchen cabinet where I keep all my magical potions. Where is it? It must be in here somewhere. . . I thought, looking for the small, green bottle of energy-restoring elixir. Aha! I proudly said to myself, grabbing the bottle and dropping one small drop of shiny green liquid in my mouth. I felt my magical energy restoring quickly, and i wasted no time going down to where Kuno is.

When I reached the ground, I held my right palm up 90 degrees and concentrated. Then, I chanted a spell. Spell script : Invisible barrier! Icy blue writtings surrounded or hut and ourselves. The ancient writtings emitted a soft, icy blue glow, and glowed a little brighter then vanished, meaning that the spell is written. We are now inside the barrier. Anyone who passes will see a normal patch of trees. They can't see or hear us, but we can see and hear them. The barrier hides my scent and my presence, as well as my magical aura, so they can't detect me. The spell can only be broken if the inhabitants inside the barrier speaks, steps out of the barrier, or if the caster undos the spell. After a few minutes of silence, a bush shook nearby.
