"Keep it to ourselves? What are you talking about? No way! How dare YOU demand something from US??? We will be figuring this out WITHOUT YOU, and of course we will tell someone! How could we not?" Honestly! By the moons she is confusing! One moment she's all quiet and then she turns super bossy! Well, no one tells me what to do. Winter huffs, and, annoyingly,  Secretdawn looks nearly unfazed.

"No. I won't let you."

"Oh yeah, hybrid? How will you stop us?" Winter exclaims.

"You need my help, but I will only help you if you tell no one." Secretdawn smiles, and I know she is right. The prophecy said 8 dragons, right? Winter and Qibli both frown, and while Moon looks concerned, I know she will let her come with us.

"We will not tell anyone except for Kinajou, Peril and Turtle." Winter glances at Moon. Really? Make a deal with her already? Secretdawn smiles and accepts, although I think she might be much less.......pleased than she shows.

***************************

NO! Go with six strangers on a mission to who-knows-where PLUS leaving secretly leaving school without telling my parents where I am and could possibly get killed?! This is NOT how I wanted to go through with school. Dawn kept a tight poker face, but she worried that she let her anxiety slip through. Things were good! I found a friend, and Zero makes school a lot more-bearable- than I thought! I don't know what I would do without him. And now, everything is just falling apart, all because of the smug SandWing and the stupid nightmare that plagues me every night. I don't think Zero will even like me now, now that I am more of a freak to him than ever. I've lost Zero and now, the other dragonets will either see me as a freak or a threat. Neither sounds good.

**************************

Dawn, powers? Well, I mean, I always had suspicions but to have it confirmed-no, nothing could change how I see Dawn. She is sweet, kind, shy, caring, smart and has very deep emotions. She is more than the shy dragonet everyone else sees, and nothing can change that. Not even this.

"Fine, but I think we should leave soon." Winter said, and Qibli frowned.

"Soon? How soon?" Qibli asked. Winter, Moon and Qibli turned away and discussed something in quiet whispers. Zero looked over to Dawn, and immediately wished he hadn't. She look frustrated, confused and.....sorrowful? She has an expression as if she thought she had lost something. Suddenly, the other three dragonets turn to Dawn.

"Come on, let's go, we have to go discuss this with Peril, Kinkajou and Turtle." Moon motioned to follow them at Qibli's words.

"Why do I have to come with you? You can explain what you want to your friends by yourself." Dawn frowned, obviously reluctant for good reasons.

"You don't have a choice. We are not letting you out of our sight. Come on, now." Dawn huffed at Qibli when he spoke, and Zero took off after them as they flew away.

****************************

Qibli was panicking. He doesn't let anyone else know, of course. Qibli's mind raced as he tried to think of what to do with Secretdawn. He definitely needed to keep an eye on her, to make sure she wasn't hurting anyone. She seems to almost have two faces, or just covers her emotions for shyness?  He needed a moment alone-really alone- to discuss what to do with Secretdawn to Moon and his friends.  But what if Secretdawn could read minds as well? Arg, this is so frustrating. She could be reading Moon and soon, Perils minds as well. So telling any plans to them might be a lost cause. But then how would they be able to do as much without Moon? What if- would confronting Secretdawn help at all? Or just make it worse? But, Moon could read Secretdawn's mind as well. Maybe they would be able to even it out, take away her advantage a bit.

"Which powers exactly do you have?" Qibli whipped around, firing the question at the surprised dragonet. Even if she didn't tell them the right answer, Moon would be able to see it in her mind, right? Or did Secretdawn find a way to fully block Moon?

****************************

I want to know that, too. She seems to be blocking that part, at least for now. When it became obvious that the dragonet was not about to answer, Qibli moved on-for now. Moon knows he will be asking again later, maybe when all of Moon's friends were there. "I don't want to come."  Secretdawn's thought echos through Moon's head. "Yes, I know you can hear me. I just want to....talk. Wait. I can't hear you back, I was not born under the first moon. Trust me, I understand your pain. But I really just honestly don't want to come. Is there anyway to get your SandWing friend to let me leave?"  Moon was about to respond in her own head, but instead just shook her head. "Do I have to worry about the IceWing too?" Moon slightly nodded. There was no way Winter and Qibli would let Secretdawn just leave. What powers did she have? Obviously prophecy, but was she born under the third moon too? Could Secretdawn's powers be.....enhanced? If so, would she keep it a secret? Would Moon keep it to herself if Secretdawn told her? Would Secretdawn be willing to help everyone on this new prophecy, even if she doesn't want to get involved? Secretdawn didn't really have a choice to not get involved, but if she did have a choice, what would she do? The thoughts swirl inside of my head, threatening to burst out in a wave of bombarding questions. But, Moon of all dragons knows what it's like to have a secret like this and to be overwhelmed by everyone's suspicions and quizzing words. So, I would keep my questions to myself, maybe only ask one or two at a time. I know the others- Winter and Qibli, mainly- would be asking anything and everything on their minds. Maybe Secretdawn would come to her with her own questions, or confide in her when needed. Moon inwardly sighed, hoping to one day, have someone with NightWing powers to share stories and thoughts with. It is hard, because as much as her friends try, they just don't understand what struggle she used to have with keeping a huge secret like that to herself. They all have, or had, their own secrets plaguing them. But, just like I can't help Qibli with his family struggles, he can't help with this. I used to think Darkstalker understood, but, he proved lots of what he said to be wrong. Who knew what it would be like with a dragonet who had to keep the secret too? Moon's thoughts are broken off by a small squeal of Kinkajou as they neared the others' group and the entrance to Jade Mountain Academy.

(Alright. Finally, Chapter 4! I recently had to edit and re-publish Chapter 1 and 3, so I didn't get to writing this for a bit. It is Summer now, though, so I will have more time to write and publish more chapters more often. You can see that I did add a part to the end of Chapter 3, writing the prophecy again because I saw that it is hard to read when it is spoken in the story. Also, it has been a month since I first published Chapter 1 (before the re-publish edit) and again, I will be publishing more often now)
