As they walked down the streets after getting directions from a grumpy SkyWing, Secretdawn sped up to walk with Winter, who was keeping to himself.

"Hey. Thanks for...... that, back there." Secretdawn frowned, mumbling something under her breath about her being bad at this.

Winter snorted. "It's fine. I was mostly trying to save myself from the whiny complaining from Qibli, which would come shortly after your death." Lie. Winter knew, deep down, that for some reason, he didn't want Secretdawn to die. Wait- why should HE care about HER? With more untrustworthy NightWing powers, and ironically, many secrets, she seemed pretty shady. But still....a part of him wanted to trust her. The hybrid chuckled at his answer, amused.

They walked in silence for a bit, but one question was eating Winter up. Well, a lot of questions, actually; but just better to not ask now. Not that he would get a truthful answer, anyway. He decided to ask just one question.

"Secretdawn, why would your brother want you dead?"

Her expression immediately darkened, a frown creeping onto her face. Her eyes glazed over with dread, and it seemed that her scales themselves had become shades darker. Her tail twitched, and her tongue flicked in and out a couple times. She quickly fixed back to a.....slightly less disturbed expression.

"We have a...tense history." He could see her jaw tighten, as if she had to clamp her mouth shut to keep her secrets from spilling.

Winter could understand that. A tense family history? Yep, sounds like a sugar-coated version of his own life. I wonder what HER life has been like....

"And call me Dawn." she finished with a smile, then continued to talk with Zero. Hmm. Dawn. He had only ever heard Zero call her that. With a flicker of a grin upon his face, he continued to walk with slight pleasure in his heart.

Finally, they arrived at the library. Turtle still wasn't quite sure what they were looking for; none of them did. Peril stayed outside, and the rest of the dragonets went in to search it.

"Just....look! Anything that could be useful you should read." Moon said, and they split up to cover more sections.

Honestly, it was barely a library. For a town this big, you'd think it would have more scrolls. It wouldn't take long for the seven of them to search the six shelves half-full of scrolls, barely half if that. After a bit, Kinkajou sighed and said she'd keep Peril company, as she can't read. Secretdawn was only halfheartedly looking. She was convinced that this was a dead end. Of course, she would be the one to know that, but Qibli wasn't so sure.

So they searched. Turtle found loads of scrolls that wouldn't help, some of them seeming even useless to anyone. He wasn't even sure what to look for- maybe a map of the islands surrounding Pyrrhia? After awhile with no one else having any luck, Turtle may have finally found something useful.

A GUIDE TO THE ISLANDS OF UNKNOWN

Turtle called out to his friends, waving the scroll.

"Guys! I think I found something!"

Everyone came rushing over, peering at the scroll as Turtle unrolled it.

A GUIDE TO THE ISLANDS OF UNKNOWN

There are many islands far from Pyrrhia, but nearly all of them have been left undiscovered. They range in different weather patterns and climate on a dramatic scale, and they are in various different sizes. A SkyWing once claimed to have found an island, but would tell no one the whereabouts and wasn't seen again after leaving the Sky Kingdom 8 years before the Great War. (see: Flare) No other reports of finding an island have been made since or before Flare the SkyWing.
