1:4 Bayou Baby Bitch

I'm in the living room, sitting down with Hayley on the couch, looking through a book on baby clothes since Hayley found out it was a girl last night, talking with Anges and Rebekah is on a laptop. "I told you Agnes, I feel great." She says. "You are overdue for a checkup." Agnes says. "What am I gonna do? Pop into the Quarter for a quick ultrasound? A pregnant werewolf escorted by a witch? Nothing to see here." Hayley says, shaking her head. "A  lot of women would kill to have a child. It strikes me as odd that you're not taking better care of yours." Rebekah says as we look over at her and back to Agnes. "know a doctor out in the Bayou, off the beaten path. Now, I took the liberty of making an appointment for you. Tonight, after-hours, just us and your brother. Vampires will never get word of it." She says and Hayley rolls her eyes, reluctantly, sighing. "Ok. Fine." She says as she closes the book. "Bayou-baby-doctor it is." Hayley says and I get up with her and Agnes, leaving.

It's nighttime as we arrive to a small cabin and look at Hayley as I'm wearing my cloak from the Gala as it's cold out and we pull up to a large cabin, deep in the bayou. "This is the doctor's office?" Hayley asks, pointing at it as we look at Agnes and she smiles at us. "Dr. Paige is only this far out because Marcel's men kept terrorizing her patients. Go. She won't bite." She says, nodding and I get out of the car and close my door behind her then open Hayley's door for her, helping her out and close the door behind us, and we start walking towards the cabin. "When did you become the overprotective brother?" She asks, sarcastically as we both laugh. "Ever since I found out you were pregnant with Klaus' child. You warm enough?" I ask and she nods as I open the door for her and we walk in.

Dr. Paige is finishing up Hayley's ultrasound as I'm holding Hayley's hand and Dr. Paige smiles up at us. "Your baby's heart rate is just fine." She says and sets the checking device onto a metal table behind her. "I knew it. She's a tough one, like her mom." Hayley says as Dr. Paige smiles more and walks over to the sink to wash her hands and I help Hayley get her flannel back on, noticing a crescent shaped birthmark. "Hey, I have the same birthmark. Same place, too." I whisper to her. "That's a pretty unique birthmark." Dr. Paige says, smiling back at us and Hayley brushes her head behind her shoulders as Dr. Paige goes back to washing her hands and dries them off. "We're pretty much done here, right?" Hayley asks and we both hear her phone buzz and she picks it up to check it. We see it's a message from Rebekah. Where are you? I read to myself and hear Dr. Paige's footsteps. "Your blood pressure's a bit high." She says, smiling as we look up at her. "I've got something for it." She says and turns around to walk out of the room, past Anges as they glance at each other and see Hayley go back to texting. Bayou clinic with doctor and Adam. He says hi. I read to myself and give a small laugh as Hayley smiles at me and we hear a wolf howl and look up and out the window as we stand up and Hayley puts her phone in her back pocket and we slowly walk over to the window and see lights and hear a car approaching. "Shit." We both whisper at the same time and see Dr. Paige walking with a cup of water in one hand and pills in the other. "Ahh, you know, I'm.. I'm actually not that good with pills." Hayley says, shaking her head and rubs the back of her neck and Dr. Paige looks nervous as well, giving a nervous smile. "Well, me neither. Truth be told." She says, walking past us to go and set the cups down and we look forward after hearing the front door open and see Agnes talking with a man and turn around as Dr. Paige is quiet, holding a syringe of some clear, orange tinted liquid and rushes over to us, trying to inject Hayley, but Hayley headbutts her and I grab the syringe, sticking it into Dr. Paige's neck and she screams as she fall to the floor after I push while Hayley runs to the door and locks it and I move the metal table over to it for extra security and we run to the window and Hayley tries to open it but it's locked. "Move!" I exclaim, grabbing the hammer on the table next to me and smash the window, shattering it to pieces. "Damn, I've so gotta get out more. I think that's a really good anger workout." Hayley says and starts climbing out the window and I follow her as we touch the ground and take hands, running with the hammer in my pocket.

We're hiding behind a tree as Anges' hunters run past us, carrying rifles and we slowly move away from the trees and running over to one of the guys and Hayley smacks him with the hammer she took from me and runs over to the next one, jumping up and kicks him in the face after I take the hammer from her and hit another one of the hunters and she grabs his rifle, smacking another one with the base of it until he goes unconscious and another one comes at us and she throws him on the ground, taking the hammer from me and beating him with it and see her eyes glow amber as she's crouching and see dark-skinned man approach us, growling and see Rebekah snap his neck and Hayley stands back up. "I have to say, I'm impressed." Rebekah says. "How'd you find us?" I ask. "Hayley's text got me halfway, vamping here did the rest. Who are they?" Rebekah asks. "Witches, Warlocks, whatever." Hayley says as we look around and see blue lights glowing in the distance. "There're more of them." Rebekah says, turning around to look at us. "Run!" She exclaims and we start running off, to hear Rebekah scream and turn around. "Rebekah?" Hayley and I both ask at the same time, only to feel arrows go in our necks and we both pass out.

Hayley and I arrive back to the doctor's office to see Klaus and Rebekah looking at us as we stumble towards them with our clothes ripped, dirt all over our faces and hair in a mess. "Hayley, Adam, what happened? Tell me what happened." Klaus says as they rush over to us and we shake our heads. "I can't remember." Hayley says. "Me, neither." I say as Klaus rests a hand on each of our shoulders as I'm applying pressure on my neck wound to stop the bleeding. "You've completely healed. There's not a scratch on you." Klaus says, checking her and then me. "At least one of us is healed." I say, coughing a little as I'm freezing and Klaus quickly bites his wrist, feeding me some of his blood and my wound heals itself. "Thank you." I say, smiling softly. "One of the perks of being a werewolf, remember?" Hayley asks. "No. Not that fast." Klaus says and Rebekah smacks his hands away from us. "Leave them alone." Rebekah says and holds onto else, helping us walk. "It's the baby. The vampire blood, Klaus' vampire blood, in your system. It can heal any wound." She says as we sit on the wooden steps. "Your own child healed you." She says and looks at me. "How did you two escape? You teo were outnumbered, unarmed. Those men were ripped to shreds." She says and we look up at Klaus. "I think it was the wolf." I say. "I think it's trying to protect us." Hayley says and Klaus points at us as he walks over to us. "The witches were supposed to protect you! When I get my hands on Sophie Deveraux.." He says and I interrupt him. "It wasn't Sophie. It was Agnes." I say. "Fine! Agnes, Sophie, it's all the same to me! I'll slaughter the lot of them!" Klaus shouts. "Not if Elijah and Kol get there first." Rebekah says and we all look at her. "Elijah?""Kol?" Hayley and I both ask at the same time. "Did you find him?" Hayley asks and Rebekah looks at Klaus and back to us. "They've been in touch, and they have a plan. All they asks is that we take care of the both of you." Rebekah says and we smile at her and look back at Klaus. "Hey. So can we go home now? I'd really like to sleep for a few days." Hayley says as we both slowly start to stand up. "And at least a twelve hour hot shower." I say and our knees buckle as we hold onto each other as Klaus catches me and Rebekah catches Hayley, resting my head on his chest. "We've got you luvs. We've got you." Klaus says and I feel him walking off with me.
