Kol and I walk into Marcel's study as he's sitting on a sofa and we hear loud church bells ring throughout the Compound. "What's with the church bells? It sounds like the preamble to me own bloody funeral." Kol says and Marcel looks up at us. "It's Carillon Eve. The locals shroud the eyes of angels so the dead can walk among us for a night without judgment." He says and we sit on the sofa in front of him. "The bells wake the dead and guide them to eternal rest. So, whether you live or die today, you can join the festivities." He says to Kol, sarcastically, who chuckles. "Oh, Marcel. You're gonna make certain that I live. I'm the only one that knows how to find Rebekah." He says and Marcel talks quickly with agression. "That's because you underestimate how hungry I am, and how much I'd like to appease my hungry friends right outside that door." Marcel says, nodding his head to the door. "And just what would Davina and Adam say about that? Because, I'm not one to kiss and tell, obviously, only Adam, but, uh, I think they like me. Only Davina as a bestie though." Kol says. "Watch your mouth." Marcel says and stands up. "Before I drain every vein of yours myself." He says and points at my smaller stomach as I haven't been eating as much and gotten sicker lately from the effects of the pregnancy. "He's basically terminal since you put that thing inside him. Your lucky I don't cut your balls off." Marcel says and walks off, clearly pissed and slams the door behind him.
Kol and I walk down the steps of a long hallway to see Josh and Gia at the end of it and they look at us as Gia starts walking towards us. "You come anywhere near us and I will give you a headache that will last a century." Kol says. "It'll be worth it." She says and quickly falls onto her knees, screaming as we put our hands, squeezing her brain from the inside and we see the door open and Marcel walks in as we release the spell and he grabs Kol's arm. "Anyone care to explain what's going on?" He asks and pushes him back lightly but roughly. "Your so-called protection detail was trying to eat me! I think I should teach them a lesson." Kol says, putting his hand out to cast another spell and falls to his knees then to the floor, passing out. "Uh.. what just happened?" Josh asks as we look at him.
I'm holding an unconscious Kol in my arms as I have my feet outstretched on a sofa, running my hands through his soft hair gently with just my fingers and see his nose bleed before looking over at Gia as she makes her vampire face and growls, stomping over to Kol and I put my hand out, flinging her against the wall and then Josh before Marcel walks over to them as they stand back up. "Easy, easy! If you start feeding, you won't be able to stop, and then he'll be dead, and the rest of us still starve. We all need to calm down." Marcel says and snaps his fingers in front of them. "Alright? Look at me! I have been at war, in the trenches, starved, with my men. If we fought through it then, you can now. We are gonna fight this hunger, together." He says and Marcel looks at me. "There's gotta be a way for you to do something. You can tell your damn snake kid to shut it." Marcel says and a lightbulb explodes. "Sorry. And there may be something I can do, but I'll need an apple. A really, shiny red one." I say. "I'll get the apple." He says as he's sweating and closes his eyes before opening them back up and Gia waves her hand in front of his face as he walks forward and grabs his arm. "Hey. Are you okay?" She asks and rolls up her sleeve and we see an infected werewolf bite. "Hey." Marcel says, snapping out of his staring to smack her hand away. "Oh, my God." Josh says as Marcel rolls down his sleeve, walking away from them. "Is that a werewolf bite?" Gia asks. "It's a scratch." Marcel says, defensively. "It's a bite. You're six ways to dead if you don't get Klaus' blood in you. And when those guys find out.." Josh says, pointing behind him with his thumb and Marcel interrupts him. "Well, they're not gonna find out! Which means.." He says before swallowing and points at Gia. "You're gonna keep your mouth shut about this." He says and points at Josh. "You are gonna shut yours, period." He says and we hear a bunch of ringing bells outside and he holds his infected arm. "You hear that? That's the sound of food that we can't even get near while you're sitting here protecting tthese idiots." Gia says, pointing at Kol and I and I roll my eyes at her. "It is just hunger, Gia. Lots of people on earth have been a lot hungrier than us." Marcel says. "You made us a promise when you turned us. You had goals we bought into. But look at us! We've been wolf bait, beaten up, stuck exiled across the river, then stuck here! And now, when we're all looking to you for help, you don't even tell us that you're dying." Gia says as Marcel is about to interrupt her but she ignores him. "You're supposed to be our leader, but right now, you suck at it." Gia says and walks off before Marcel looks at me. "I'll get you that apple." He says and walks off.
I feel Kol wake up and looks around as I smile at him and he presses his soft lips against mine. "Bloody hell, darling." He says and some of the vampires, along with Gia walk in and bare their fangs at us and feel we're dashed off and stop at our room, seeing Marcel shut the door. "Thanks, mate." Kol says. "Oh, don't thank me yet." Marcel says and is about to lunge to Kol, who puts his hands up. "Whoa whoa, hold it! Hold it together. Just for a little while longer. A few minutes, to be exact." Kol says as he points out the window and we see the sun is about to go down. "What are you talking about?" I ask, confused as Marcel walks past us. "Finn." Kol says and Marcel turns around. "He plans to release the lot of you at sundown." Kol says and Marcel sighs loudly, angry. "The streets will be jam-packed with people right outside the gate." He says. "And you'll be crazed with hunger." I say and Marcel smashes the apple with his bare hand. "You'll feed your way through the crowd, and that will be the end of vampires secretly living off the fat of New Orleans." Kol says and Marcel looks behind us and comes back to focus as I snap my fingers in his face. "Marcel. Listen to me, you are outmaneuvered, out-manned, and, quite frankly, you're.. you're out of your mind. We're not going to get out of this alive." Kol says. "No. We are all getting out of this alive." Marcel says, determined.
Kol and I walk onto the balcony as it's sundown and we see the group of vampires behind Marcel as he slowly reaches the barrier and is able to pit his hand through and looks back at his vampires. "It's down. Let's go." He says and turns around and they start walking. "I hope they make it." I say, intertwining my fingers with Kol's. "Me, too, darling. Me too." He says and kisses my cheek.
We see Davina in the distance as we're out on the streets as everything is normal, meaning that Marcel and his vampires made it safe and we see Davina smiling at us in the distance and she runs over to us, pulling us into a group hug. "You guys survived." She says and we both laugh as she hugs a little tighter. "We did it." I say, smiling.
