I walk out of the Compound for breakfast and into the dining room after smelling coffee and pancakes being made and stop as I see Kol and Finn are chained up with magical anti-magic shackles on their hands. "Kol." I say and rush over to him but Klaus stops me. "No, luv. This is a meeting of great importance. Why don't you sit down?" He asks and I give a small sigh after glaring at him and sit down next to Kol. "Are you okay?" I ask, intertwining my fingers with his gently and he gives a small nod. "Never been better." He says, sarcastically. "Now, where was I? Ah, right." Klaus says, smirking. "Today, a new future awaits. Forget your animosity toward Elijah and myself. Instead, join us against she who truly deserves your ire. Our mother." He says and I look at him. "Do this, and we will welcome you with open arms." He says, dramatically, holding his arms out. "Well.." Kol says and reaches for a beignet and Klaus pulls the plate away, smiling. "But, if you continue to oppose us, a denial of pastries will be the least of your concerns." He says, holding a finger up to Kol. "If all you wanted was my allegiance against Mother Dearest, you should have said so. Save me a night shackled to the wall. I only bloody joined her to keep Adam safe." Kol says. "Yes, this was Niklaus." Elijah says and I look over at him. "My recommendation was to remove your limbs, one by one, until you comply." Elijah says, sighing and Klaus stands up, laughing, walking over to Kol and Finn as I sip on some orange juice. "We've no desire to torture you." Klaus says and squeezes their arms. "Provided you vow to stand beside us as brothers." He says and Finn shrugs after Klaus takes his hands off their shoulders. "'Brothers.' Does that word even apply to us? After all these centuries of betrayal? And, has loyalty to you ever rewarded?" He asks, smiling as he glances at Klaus, who walks back to his seat. "If so, tell me, Niklaus, where is our sister, Rebekah? She was blindly loyal to you for a thousand years, and now? Nowhere to be found. Where did our sister go? And, how did she escape your vile machinations?" Finn asks and Klaus turns around, smiling. "You think me vile?" He asks and sits down. "What, then, do you make of the one who cursed us?" He asks and we look at Finn. "She was trying to make you mortal again." He says, frustrated. "And, you both refused her." He says and chuckles. "It only proves how far you've fallen. But, I expect Rebekah will have a different response to her proposal. See, unlike the two of you, she always did cling to her humanity." He says and Elijah points at him with a fork. "Rebekah is off-limits to you. You pursue her, and you will suffer." He says. "Do not let him goad you, Elijah." Klaus says and I look at him. "Neither he, nor Esther, will find Rebekah unless she wants to be found." He says and we look at Finn. "And she does not." I say. "Esther is quite determined. She's been searching for Rebekah since the day she returned. I imagine it's only a matter of time." He says, smiling and we see Elijah stand up and pull him across the table, holding him to the floor, shows his vampire face and digs his fangs into Finn's neck as Finn screams.
I arrive with Davina to Marcel's place as he's standing next to Josh who is sitting down on Marcel's sofa. "I screwed up, you guys. I was with Kaleb last night, and he took the White Oak Stake when I forgot my bag." She says, glancing at me and we look at Marcel. "I'm sorry, I never should have trusted him." Davina says and we see Marcel puts a hand out for her to calm down. "Kol doesn't have the Stake. Klaus does. Matter of fact, Klaus has Kol, too." Marcel says, smiling after putting his hand down and I look at Davina. "How is that possible?" She asks and I sigh as we look back at Marcel "D, I'm the one who took him. I saw an opportunity, and I wasn't gonna pass it up. Trust me, we are all safer this way." Marcel says and Davina and I cross our arms at him. "Not me. Not without my fiancee." I say and show Marcel the ring as he looks confused. "Yeah, he proposed to me last night." I say and he sighs. "Look, kids. Klaus has had a thousand years to kill Kol, and he hasn't. So, worry less about him, and more about yourself. Alright?" Marcel asks and looks at Davina. "This guy is not your friend. He wants to use you to get his own way." He says. "You don't know him like we do." Davina says. "I know him better than either of you do." Marcel says. "I doubt that." I say and he walks over to us. "Now, I'm sorry I had to go behind your back. And I hate lying to you, I really do, but believe me, this is for your own good. I gotta take care of some business, alright? Stick with Josh and Adam." Marcel says, looking at Josh then at Davina and I. "Everything's gonna be okay." He says and walks off.
