Davina and I slowly wake up next to each other after spending all night with Kol at his playhouse tomb, waking up to hear classical jazz playing on a gramophone. "What..? How long were we asleep?" I ask, looking up at Kol as Davina yawns and stretches a little and I notice Kol is by a bunsen burner, smiling at me. "All night." He says and looks back at it, using a mini pair of binoculars to look at something. "It was a rather fitful sleep, though. You were muttering about how you wanted to see me go skinny dipping with you and Davina about muttering about wanting to kill Klaus." He says and we both laugh at his comments as he lights the bunsen burner with a flint. "In fact, I'm glad that you two are up, 'cause we are ready to get started." He says as we stand up and he pulls the White Oak Dagger out of the box as we walk over to him. "You sure you know how to do this?" Davina asks and we smile at him as he sits down in front of us and we have our arms crossed at him. "Well, have a little faith, Adam, Davina. I have been planning this for over a century." Kol says, looking at us as he rubs the Dagger's blade and we smile at him and he looks down. "Neither of you are having second thoughts, are you?" He asks, looking back up at us. "You were the one who wanted to get rid of the bastard without hurting your friends, Davina." He says. "I'm past second thoughts." Davina says and we smile at her. "That's our bestie." Kol says and she smiles at us and we hear her phone vibrating and turn to look at it. "Oh, you might want to turn that off. It's been, uh, buzzing all this morning." He says and she goes over to check her messages as I kiss Kol's neck gently and rest my hands on his shoulders and she walks back over to us. "Josh and Marcel are still missing." She says, panicked and runs off.
Kol is looking through a mini book as we've been making out for a while since Davina left and hear her boot heels click as she walks in with Aiden following behind her. "So much for having a secret lair." I say and Aiden takes his bag off. "Seriously, mate." Kol says. "Don't mind Kol." Davina says as she looks at Aiden. "Did you bring the stuff I asked for?" She asks and Aiden turns to face us as he starts unloading the bag. "This is everything that Josh left at my place." He says, handing Davina Josh's hairbrush and toothbrush. "Wow. Practically moved in, has he?" Kol asks and I cover his mouth with my hand and giggle as he playfully nibbles at it. "Kol? Please shut up." Davina says, looking at him as I put my hand down and she sprinkles black sand onto a map of New Orleans. "Ok, here we go." I say as she lights a candle and Kol offers his hand to her. "Alright, come on, then. Channel us. It'll be quicker. Come on." He says and she walks over to us and the three of us link hands. "Ce che vous, pro la busque. Ce che vous, pro la busque. Ce che vous, pro la busque. Ce che vous, pro la busque. Ce che vous, pro la busque. Ce che vous, pro la busque. Ce che vous, pro la busque. Ce che vous, pro la busque. Ce che vous, pro la busque." We chant and open our eyes to see the sand is surrounding a street corner and Davina points at it and I notice it's Lenore's shop. "Right here. The street corner." She says and so do Kol and I both. "Oh yeah, I know it. It's the little bodega the witch Lenore used to run before my mother hijacked her body." Kol says. "I know how to get there the fastest." I say. "Great. Thank you for the help." Aiden says and starts to run off. "Wait, but you can't go alone." Davina says. "Well, to be absolutely clear, here, technically, he definitely could go alone." Kol says, pointing at Aiden and Davina walks over to Aiden. "No, it's a suicide mission." She says. "Yeah, and what's more tragic than a suicide mission but a mass suicide mission?" Kol says as we all look at him and Aiden raises his voice a little. "I'm not leaving Josh with a nut job that hates vampires." Aiden says. "Neither am I." Davina says, looking angrily at us and turns around, walking off with Aiden.
Davina, Aiden and I are in the back of Lenore's shop as we're holding our phones and using the flashlight app to see, looking around at all the vampires, but specifically for Josh. "Davina, Adam. Over here. I got him." Aiden says and tries to wake him up as we walk over to him and Josh gasps, waking up and takes deep breaths as he sits up and looks at us. "Josh, hey. It's me. You all right?" Aiden asks and Josh growls at us, showing us his vampire face with his fangs out and red, bloodshot eyes with veins under his eyes and we take a step back and turn to the other vampires after we heard growling and see them slowly start to rise and hear a whoosh sound and look back at the floor to see Josh is gone. "Come on." I say and we start running back to the door and Josh blocks our path, growling at us and he grabs Aiden's shoulders and Davina and I look back to see the other vampires are coming towards us. "Josh, please." Aiden says and we hear Josh's neck break. "Adam, Davina, let's go!" Aiden exclaims and we run out of the shop as he's carrying an unconscious Josh over his shoulders.
