Hide and Seek

"You know, you can talk to me if you feel like opening up. I'm ready to listen."

I let out a deep sigh. I feel bad that I'm sulking while I'm with Jinho. I know he and Hongseok just wants me to be happy. I mean, even in a short period of time I already consider Jinho my friend.

It's been days and I still got no updates from Kino, while Hongseok still hasn't returned.

"Okay then," I cleared my throat and took a deep breath. I told him all the things I had been keeping to myself recently. It feels good to release and talk about it.

I noticed him frown, "But hey, I appreciate your presence." I told him.

He smiled at me, his eyes almost disappearing. His eye smile is really cute.

"Don't mind me, I'm worried about you." he opened his arms, gesturing for a hug.

I walked near him and hugged him tight. Even for a short time, I felt warm and safe. His hug is so comfortable.

He patted my head while still hugging me, then he began to draw circles on my back. "Everything will be fine."

I don't know why but I felt like crying again. I don't know the heck why when someone is comforting me it results to me crying more.

As I was fighting the urge to cry, I saw Kino from afar. His eyebrows were furrowed while his lips were in a slight pout.

He must have sensed that I was staring at him because he quickly looked away and left.

"Jinho, excuse me for a minute, I have to go to the ladies' room." he nodded.

I went there to text Kino. I've been sulking for days already.

I began typing,

Talk to me when you're ready.

I was still hesitating to send it when someone tapped my shoulder, surprising me.

"Seorin, right?" a pretty girl asked me. 

"Yeah, Jang Yeeun? "

"Yup!" she chuckled. Her voice and laugh is so sweet. She smiled and put out her hand which I accepted.

"We're classmates but we don't really talk. I wanna be friends with you."

My eyebrow automatically raised, "Why? Why me?"

"You seem cool. I always notice you and Kino together. I'm jealous of your friendship actually. You two are really close. And just between you and me, I actually like Kino."

"Oh." was all I can say, I thought the people in class didn't give a damn about me. And the fact that she likes Kino makes me want to stab her.

Just kidding, but I can be really deadly when I get jealous.

I smiled at her, "Sure then. Let's be friends."

Her eyes widened and glow. Then she kept saying 'thank you' to me. "See you later in class!"

I smiled at her and waved. Then I fixed my hair and went out to find Jinho there waiting for me.

"I already finished eating, so I decided to wait for you here."
