Chapter 39

Missing You

"How's it going there?"

"It's fine. We just arrived a few hours ago and we're now currently resting in our hotel room."

"I'm glad you landed safely." Kino smiled faintly, "I miss you already."

I pouted, wanting to pull him out of my phone's screen and hug him. "I miss you too."

I flinched when my phone vibrated, it's a text from Hui.

Seorin-ah, meet me here at the lobby. Let's take a walk

"Who is it?"

"Hui, he wants to take a walk."

Kino grinned, "It looks like you're gonna have a sibling bonding. Call me later okay?"

I rolled my eyes and chuckled. "See you later! I miss you."

He gave me a big flying kiss, I acted like I caught it, resulting us both to laugh.

"Okay get going now, i love you."

I felt my cheeks burn even though he already ended the video call.

"I love you too." I muttered as I gather my things and go down to the lobby.

Hui was talking to someone dressed in all black. I approached them to find out that it's Yuto.

"Hey Seorin." he called with a wave. I smiled at him and waved back.

"Let's eat somewhere, I'm hungry."

We went to a sushi bar and ate a lot. We were very full so we decided to walk and wander around a nearby park.

"Tokyo is really beautiful at night. Why don't we go back to your hotel and wander around later?" Yuto suggested.

I glanced at my watch, it's already 5pm. It's near sunset.

"You guys go on, I'll stay here and watch the sunset."

Hui raised an eyebrow, "We can't leave you here alone. We'll watch the sunset with you."

I nodded and smiled at my protective brother. I sat on the bench and spaced out.

I'm missing Kino

I wonder what he's doing right now. Has he eaten? Is he out with Hongseok right now? Is he learning a new choreo? Or is he making music with Jinho?

I smiled at the sight of the beautiful sunset as I remember when we watched the sunset together. I took a picture of the beautiful scenery and sent it to Kino.

He immediately replied with a selca,

The sunset there is really beautiful uwu. But you're the most beautiful ;)

I chuckled at the last part, my phone beeped again and revealed another message from him,

I miss you :<

I replied with an 'i miss you too' text and wore my earphones, listening to his song "Universe".

I gaze off into the distance while listening to his sweet voice sending butterflies in my stomach.

I took my earphones off when Yuto tapped my shoulder. "Let's go now?"

I nodded, "Let's go to the hotel first, I want to change clothes."

"You're already fine with what you're wearing." Hui complained.

"I want to look nice for pictures." I rolled my eyes, "Let's go!"

When we arrived at the hotel, Hui took a shower while I pick an outfit from my luggage. In the end, I chose to wear a black sweater dress and black thigh-high boots. And I also wore a necklace as an accessory.

I face the mirror and look at my hair, thinking if I should get a haircut. I bet this outfit would look good with short hair.

I decided to get a haircut later, but I'll finish preparing first. I'm not really that girl that uses makeup but I wanna look pretty for this trip and for myself.

Firstly, I did the make up base. Then I used a light beige eye shadow and stumped it along the entire upper eyelid.

Then, using an eyeliner, I outline the lash line on the upper eyelid and a faint line on the lower lashes. And lastly, I applied red lipstick.

I look at my self in the mirror and I can say that I'm impressed with the make up I did.

I texted mom so that we can both get a haircut together. She replied after a few seconds, saying yes.

"Woah are you really my sister?" I hear Hui say as he dries his hair with a towel. I rolled my eyes and smiled. "Your sister's really pretty huh?"

He scrunch his nose resulting me to playfully smack his arm.

"I'm just going to get a haircut, meet me at starbucks later. I'll text you guys."

"Will you be fine without Yuto?"

"Yeah, plus I'll be going with mom. And I know how to speak some basic Japanese." I proudly said.

"Okay then, we'll meet you later."

"I didn't know that short hair would fit you Seorin." mom said as we exit the salon. We also got our nails done, mine with the color cherry red while mom with white.

I received a text from Hui that they are at Starbucks right now. Mom and I proceeded there to meet them.

We saw Hui with dad and Yuto, who just got their order. When they noticed mom and I, their jaw automatically dropped.

"Seorin, you look dashing with short hair." Yuto said making me smile.

"Who are you!?" Hui dramatically asked and pointed at me. I rolled my eyes at him for the nth time and chuckled.

I ordered a matcha frappuccino. When I got my order, we went out to roam the streets of Tokyo.
