El stood outside the new glamorous mall, this was the first time Eleven had been to starcourt by herself. Yes she was very nervous but she was also excited! Hop has given her some money to buy stuff for the trip and he told her To go see Steve, he didn't need to tell her that though, she would have always gone to see her mama!
The mall was very big and busy, a few months ago this would have been against the rules but now she could go! She felt a sense of freedom that she had never had before, she was always either locked in the lab or in the cabin. It scared her that she could do whatever she wanted, she didn't know what there was to do! But she knew she had to try everything!
"Ahoy El!" Robin was always very happy and kind to El which she appreciated so much.
"A hoy?"
"It's another way of saying hello, I'm guess your here to see Steve about the trip?"
"Oh well A-Hoy then! Yeah I am." Robin led El round the back of the cafe to a little, dusty yet cosy break room. El could tell that she would be spending a lot of time here soon.
"Hey El, Hop called to say you were coming. You here to talk about the trip?"
"Hi Steve, yeah Hopper said I might be able to help?"
"Uh yeah actually that would be great! Thanks El"
Els pov
Should I tell Steve or Robin how I feel about Max? Maybe they could help us get together? Wow El she's not even gay! Or is she? Anyway focus on helping Steve.
"So El where do you think we should go?"
Oh wait where could we go? Ooo maybe i forest with a lake? Wait a minute I know...
"What about California?" Please say yes! Max would love me if I was the one who came up with this idea!
"El I'm sorry but that's to far, I'm guessing you want to go there to make Max happy?"
"Yeah." I wanted to go there so much! It would make Max so happy!
"Well how about we go to another beach, one that's a bit nearer? There's a beautiful one an hour away?"
Well I guess that's easier then California, I hope Max will like it!
"Um yeah that sounds good! Oh also we need to take lots of eggos!"
Normal pov
"Hey El I'm on my lunch break, you wanna go shopping for the camping trip?" Robin interrupted the to, not on purpose though!
"Yes! I need some new clothes!"
"Bye Steve," El shouted as she was being dragged away by Robin.
Eleven was so excited she got to go shopping with a girl! She had only been shopping with Hop and he wasn't the best fashionista ever! The two girls decided to start at gap. El found a cute 2 piece outfit it was red with yellow flowers, a multicoloured pastel swimming costume, more scrunchies and some cute pink sunglasses! Next they decided to head to another clothing store, they both needed to look for some pjs and shorts.
"Oh my- Robin look!" Something beautiful had put Eleven into a trance. That thing was to her the most beautiful item of clothing ever invented, that thing was eggo pjs! This was the best thing she'd seen in her whole entire life! The top was white with a large eggo and the letters 'Leggo my eggo' written in yellow, the shorts where yellow with millions of tiny eggos covering it!
"Oh wow El, you have to buy these! They are so your thing!" Robin knew the teens love for eggos, I mean everyone ever knew!
That day Eleven went home with bags full of clothes! She was so excited to show Hopper everything she brought! Her and Steve had also contacted the rest of the group to find out when they could go and for how long. They decided on the next Sunday they would go and they would return on the Thursday. It was lucky they had no school that week! On top of that they had made there sleeping arrangements, the beach they were staying on allowed campers and had toilets. It was El, Max and Robin in the first tent, Will and Mike in another, Dustin, Lucas and Steve in the last.
"Hey Hop I'm home," hmm that's weird hops always home... oh wait he did mention that he might be going to see Joyce. I hate being alone it reminds me of the lab. All the party's busy, I think I'll go back to see Steve.
1 hour later
"Hey El back so soon?"
El was about to reply when she noticed the rest of the party in the mall having fun, together, with out her...

2 updates in one day! This is a record! Anyway I have 1 more chapter then I think it'll be better the start of the camping trip. Also writing the end of this made me want to cry😭 I hope y'all like this chapter! Please ignore any mistakes❤️
I'm not saying men aren't good at fashion just in this book Hops not, and I have no idea whether the would be a beach near Hawkins 😂
