Chapter 5: The Comeback

—MARINETTE—

It was about a week ago when the last incident happened. Vilanna was no where to be seen. Me and chat was getting worried so we would often patrol on 6pm to 11pm.
There were no chatting, just a few simple talks and we would just go home expecting that Vilanna wouldn't show up again. It was really tiring but for the sake of Paris I have to do my job. My wound healed up a little, I guess the green paste that master fu gave me actually worked.

Meanwhile in school me and adrien became close together after that project meet up. I developed stronger feelings for him. But then there was a rumor spreading our school and our city. Chloe and Sabrina have gone missing, I kinda felt good about it since that there was no one in our class that would bully us anymore. But just as I said it, a week ago Ms bustier greeted us that we have a new student coming back again. Well she was not entirely new to this school but she did come back. We were all exited to meet a new friend including me. Well boy I regretted it.

Lila walked up to our room. My mouth wide open.

LILA? I pointed at Ms bustier, she's the new student?

Well, not new actually...let's just say I made a comeback. She giggled and frowned.

What's wrong Lila? Ms bustier asked.

Oh nothing, it's just that when I came to Hawaii, I had an ear injury.

All of the students in our class gasped. Instead of me.

Why? What happened Lila? The questions keep on coming,

Well..when I was about to go home from Hawaii the my private jet turned on accidentally and I wasn't wearing my ear protectors. She said.

Oh that's horrible. Ms bustier said.

And now I can't hear things clearly. She frowned, touching her left ear.

I rolled my eyes. Seriously? A private jet? She couldn't even afford to buy a good lie.
I told myself.

Well, you can always sit behind adrien. Ms bustier said. Marinette. Would you mind moving to the top row. There's n extra table and seat there. She said.

My jaw dropped. WHAT? I shouted b..but-

No butts Ms bustier said.

I grabbed my things and went to the top seat.

Thanks Marinette, as lila grinned.

Alright then, now that that's over we can go ahead and finish our lesson. Ms bustier clapped and wrote some lessons on the board.

WITHOUT EVEN A COUPLE OF MINUTES LATER-

Ms bustier? Lila raised her hand.

Yes Lila? Ms bustier asked.

I..I can't see. It's a little blurry....would you mind if I sat next to ADRIEN so that I can hear and see things clearly? Lila pleased.

WHAT? I shouted. I thought you only had an ear accident? I questioned her.

About that- Lila whispered.

Oh come on Marinette, would you just let lila sit next to adrien? Max replied.

I-

Ya Marinette.

Suddenly the whole class started to shut me off. What did I even do? I asked myself.

It's okay lila, Adrien smiled. I can just go sit next to Marinette and you could sit here beside nino. He smiled and took his things and sat beside me.
