Chapter 30: The talk

—A month before the accident—

"Marinette Sweetheart, we need to talk" the petite raven haired woman sat down and gestured a man to sit beside her.

Marinette just opened the bathroom door after puking out lunch. It was 6am and the dupainchengs sat down in their lounge area, ready for a fun family meeting.

And a deadly one too.

Marinette wiped her sweat as she felt a wrench drop in her stomach, knowing what this family meeting was all about.

But she was ready.

was she really though?

"It's about your future" Tom huffed as his large arms crossed close to his chest.

"God please no" Marinette murmured to herself remembering the times that they had a family meeting about something this important. He would often say.

"It's about your future"

Marinette was obviously getting tired of that word.

"Sweetheart, we know you tried keeping this but-" Sabine hushed as Tom furiously yelled the words out of his mouth.

"So Who's the father?"

Silence kept the threo sit awkwardly. Tom sat down with his huge hands on the table as Sabine rubbed his back. Marinette just stayed quiet and still as she began to shake.

"I..I can't tell you" she faintly spoke as the couple looked eye to eye with their daughter.

"This is Ridiculous!" Shouted Tom as he stood up and tilted Marinettes face who was looking down on her four month belly.

"Tell me!" He clenched his teeth. "Tell me the bastard who did this to you!"

"He's not a bastard papa! He's the most sweetest boy I ever met and I'm sure he would love me for who I am!" Marinette shouted as she stood face to face with her father.

Tom stood there speechless as Sabine covered her mouth in shock.

How can Marinette even tell her parents that she got pregnant by a flying black cat who makes corny puns and fights bad guys.

So iconic.

Marinette took a step back and looked at both of her parents. "I'll tell you when I'm ready" she sighed as she brushed her hair and went upstairs.

"When were both ready"

—7 weeks after the incident—

"Seven weeks" she sighed. "Seven weeks since the incident and yet she hasn't left her room yet!" Alya rubbed her temples as she began to roam the room with her other arm behind her back.

"And?" Nino raised a brow.

"AND? Nino She's our bestfriend!" Alya shouted.

"I get that her baby died but what are we supposed to do?" Nino scolded back.

"We-" Alya sighed. "We need to be there for her, no matter what it takes"

"I brought pizza!" Alix interrupted and put the pizza on the table.

"Not now alix-" Alya walked towards her but was pushed when everyone ran up to the table to get a bite of the delicious savory pizza.

"Dibs!" Alix jumped in. "Hey no I was first!" Ivan shouted. "Sharing is caring!" Marc joined in.

MEANWHILE...

"Seven weeks!" He sighed.

"Y..yesss I know master you keep on telling me that"

"Isn't there a way to help her? Please sass I need you're help!"

"Master I'm sorry but there's no other way-" the snake kwami hissed.

The boy shook his head and walked left to right impatiently. "Aha! What about bunnix!"

"Bunnix? What are you planning to do- oh no! Master it's too dangerous!" Sass approached his master and begged.

"Please! I don't want to lose another master again!" The blue kwami tugged his jacket and hugged him.

"Don't worry sass, I'll be fine. Now please tell me how I can go back in time" the boy stood a step back as sass flew in the air and grabbed his masters phone and scrolled through his contacts.

"This, this girl can help us!" Sass pointed out as he followed his master out the door.

Alya sighed and walked towards the front door. "Why isn't anybody listening to me-AHH!" She shouted as she was surprised by a blue boy's presence.

"Sorry! A..Alya right?" Luka lended Alya a hand and helped her to stand up.

"Yeah thanks" Alya grunted and dusted her body. "So what brings you here?" She asked.

"Actually, I'm here for you" luka smiled as alya blushed and crossed her arms.

"Why?" She asked. Luka panted but eventually caught up. "It's about Marinette I need you're help"

A/N: hey guys, sorry for the delay...I know y'all miss this story and I promise I will FINISH IT But for now I'll just take my time and rest since there's this place called school it took me a lot more than a month to make another chapter, but like I said I'm going to finish it.

And There are more problems this gurl is facing like I dunno, CHAT FUCKING BLANC AND FELIX THE ONE WITH DORKY ASS HAIR. yes.

Oh and ya girl got herself a man HAHA. But ya know we're not gonna last so :)

And for the most part, don't worry this story WILL have a happy ending.
