Chapter 15: The Check up

The next morning, Marinette woke up with the sound of birds chirping on her window."Morning" she greeted her red kwami while she stretched her arms in the air. "How's you're sleep?" The little red kwami asked her. Marinette touched her slightly wet pillow, "I cried to sleep again didn't I?" Marinette sighed. "Yeah,But this time it was You're hormones" tikki replied.

Marinette once again felt her stomach aching and her head spinning. "One moment-" she sighed as she ran to the bathroom and puked what ever was her dinner last night.
She got out of the bathroom and wiped her chin, still feeling a bit nauseous, she lied down her bed and hummed a song while gently stroking her stomach.

"You should probably get a check up already" tikki confronted her with her tiny arms crossed. "Yeah I'll do it on Saturday" she yawned and grabbed her towel.

"It's Saturday" tikki blurted out with her tongue sticking out.

"Fineeeee" she sighed and went inside the bathroom and took a quick shower. When she got out she heard a knock on her trap door. "Huh?" She whispered. She opened the door and took a peek.

"YAHHH!" She screamed as she closed the door tightly.

"What was that about?" Tikki asked me.

I breathed heavily and took my clothes. I made sure he didn't see my bump. "One moment" I inhaled and opened the trap door again, but this time he steped in and greeted me.

"Sorry princess" he responded.

"Y..yeah...I..it's..fine" I nervously laughed.

He looked at me head to toe.

"You look stunning" he blurted out...blushing.

I blinked twice until I noticed his face was bright red.

"I Uhh..mean uhh...y..you l..look..good..hehehe.." he continued.

I giggled and booped his nose.

"So what brings you here?" I smiled and sat down on my bed.

"Well..uhh.. (god she looks so gorgeous)..I..j..just..wanted..to..Uhh.."

"Wanted to?" She continued.

"S..say..sorry" he finished and blushed bright red.

"For what?"

"For..t..the...k..kiss" he gulped.

"Oh" I continued as I touched my lips. "It's okay" I smiled.

"Y..you're..not mad?"

"Why would I be? But I guess ladybug will get mad"I giggled

"Why would she? She doesn't love me" he frowned.

I felt my heart breaking again. (Oh minou...if only I could tell you) "well maybe you should go talk to her" I responded.

"How will I if she doesn't even show up anymore" he sniffed.

"Marinette! Wake up, breakfast is ready!" A female voice called downstairs.

"That's maman" I gasped.

"It's okay princess, I'll go now" He smiled and left.

I just sat there like an idiot. "Looks like someone has a crush" tikki teased.

"Tikki!" I blurted out as maman called me again. "Marinette!"

"Coming!" I responded and headed downstairs.

"What took you so long?" She asked me. She cooked me some pancakes for breakfast while papa opened the bakery.
