Chapter 34: Surprise? Hehe-no dUMBASS

After a good minute of hugging and crying on eachothers shoulder, ladybug pulled from the embrace and wiped her face from wet tears. Chatnoir had no problem if her suit was wet. He did not care. Only seeing her crying was enough for his heart to break.

His caring smile turned into a frown in seconds; he had realized that she had given up on his betrothal of love. She had found another guy and will be having a child with him. He felt heartbroken, although he could not seem to think how she would react to this.

"I'm so happy for you" he said softly, trying not to scare her.

Ladybug sniffed and looked directly at chatnoir's beautiful emerald eyes. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you this, I was scared and..and I didn't know how to tell you this" she sniveled softly and twiddled her thumbs together. A pair of black gloves hands took hers and clutched them softly.

"You didn't have to be scared" he cupped her cheek and she rested her face on his gentle hand.

"Congratulations on you both, seems like the baby would have such a beautiful and caring mother to have, I hope the father will be the same too" he lightly chuckled but Ladybug seemed to have not understand what he was saying.

"Chat are you okay?" She asked but turned to see the blonde boy crying. She felt like he was feeling her hormones or herself. "Why on earth are you crying kitty?" She managed to let out a quiet chuckled.

"Nothing.." he sniffled "...it's just that...Its just so overwhelming" he stood up and his former lady to stand. Still, Ladybug had no idea what was going on.

"I'm sure you'll be a good father, I've been thinking of telling you this long ago but I was too afraid of what might you think. I was thinking that you would leave me, but if you choose that because of various reasons...I..I can manage" she tried not to cry but instead, she took short breaths.

"What?" Chat turned to her. Her tangled blue hair swaying on her face, it almost seemed to be hiding her emotions from him. Paying no attention to his somewhat question, she brushed her hand on her top, revealing her hidden stomach. Being 6 months pregnant was a little woozy for her; well Atleast morning sickness felt non existent now to her. But her feet were swollen and her back was aching. She had to sit down for Atleast 20 minutes every time she stood up.

"Would you repeat that? What do you mean I'll be a good father? I'm confused-" Chat blinked rapidly. He could not understand what she was talking about. He would soon let her go by the fact that she had another lover and will be having a child with it but, his did not make sense. Atleast not for him.

"Chat- I..you.." Ladybug heavily sighed, "you're the fa- wHOOP!" She shouted as she felt chatnoirs hands wrapped on her legs and raise her in the air- which was a bad idea comparing her weight to himself, but he did not care. He put her down in case she would feel frightened.

"I- WHAT?!" He exclaimed. Ladybug could see a small smile on his mouth. "Did he not understand what I told him? Did he think that he was not the father??? Oh dear lord why did he have to be so dense" Ladybug told herself. She wanted to slap her forehead and just scream.

"I'm going to be a father?!" He exclaimed, his mouth had a plastered smile that he could not help but show her. "I-y..yes" she managed to say but he ran over to the edge of the rooftop and yell to the top of his lungs,

"IM GOING TO BE A FATHER!!!!" he yelled. He was laughing and his heart was pounding fast. He turned to ladybug but saw her sitting down and cradling stomach, her breathing seemed to be slow and her loose hair was flying on her face.

He walked over to her and sat beside her. His knees resting on the floor and his hands gently fixing the hair on her face and putting it behind her ear. He couldn't stop his self from smiling.

"What on earth is going on?" She gasped as he hugged her tightly, his waist trying not to hit her sensitive stomach. He pulled back hands on her shoulders.

"I chat believe you didn't tell me!" He exclaimed.

"I can't believe you're acting this way" she glared at her goofy baby daddy.

"What else would I be acting? I'm thrilled!" He opened his arms and let the air shudder around him. "I'm going to be a father!" He shouted again, his feet inches away from the cliff of the rooftop.

"Stop that right now before you fall" she pouted and rubbed her stomach. She really wanted to lay down and rest her back.

He glanced at her and saw her breathing heavily. He could sense her exhaustion. He finally went to her again and kneeled down. "You really should have told me sooner. I could've jump at this building from excitement" he chuckled but she did not take it serious.

"Eh, surprise?" She rolled her eyes and rubbed her stomach. He couldn't help but look down at her belly. It was already big. How many months did she hide this from him?

"How far are you?" He gulped.

"Six months" she said and he gasped. "You kept this from me for six months?! You could've gotten hurt from the akuma battles!" He furrowed his brow. She took his hand and placed it on her belly. His face shocked.

"Can you feel it?" She whispered and he did not flinch. She turned to him and watch as his eyes grew wide. "D..did the baby just k..kick me?" Ladybug smiled and nodded.

Chatnoir felt his heart melt. He cupped her cheek and stuck his forehead to hers. "I'm so happy you told me this" he whispered and she held his hand. "Me too" a soft pair of lips touched hers and gently cupped her cheek. She closed her eyes and let herself rest on his lips. She missed this feeling and she knew he did too. Finally they seperated for air.

"I missed you" she cooed. Chatnoir gently placed his hand on her stomach the other on her cheek.

"I missed us"

Ngl, I saw someone in the comments say that when did Alya knew about chatnoir being the father-I honestly don't know when but HSGHDGSHCS—pls jus pt pretend I didn't t put that there in the last story HAHA. Believe it or not this book have been a dump since I last edited it. Sorry about that, I don't even know how you guys still enjoy it so much. I really appreciate the comments and I'll try to reply regularly😄
