Chapter 1: school work

—MONTHS BEFORE THE PROLOGUE—

—MARINETTE—

Beep,beep,beep
The sound of the alarm clock echoed through out the room.

Marinette! The small voice of tikki called out to her sleeping owner.

No response.

MARINETTE! Tikki flew and head banged her face. WAKE UP!

Marinette slowly got up.

Good morning tikki,she greeted her with a yawn.

C'mon Marinette,you'll be late for school! The kwami replied with a giggle.

Marinette quickly got ready and rushed out of her room.

Down stairs in the kitchen her mother had prepared her breakfast.as for her dad he was getting ready to open the bakery downstairs.

Goodmorning Mama! Marinette cheerfully greeted her mother with s pleasant smile.

Goodmorning sweetheart. Come take a sit,her mother replied.

Marinette sat down and ate her breakfast. It was her favorite, corn muffins with milk.
She quickly munched her breakfast down and thanked her mother.

She went downstairs to greet her dad.

Goodmorning papa! Marinette greeted him.

Ah! Goodmorning sweetie pie! Tom cheered.

I'll be going now papa. marinette smiled and rushed to the door.

Marinette arrived to school just in time before the bell rang.

She sat on her seat beside alya and looked at adrien in front of her. His back head had always made her happy every morning.

Psst... alya whispered, but Marinette didn't quite heard it.

PSST! Alya whispered again,but this time a little louder than the last one.
Again,Marinette didn't hear it,she was too busy staring at adriens back like it was the most beautiful thing to look at.

MARINETTE! Alya shouted on her hear, WHU- Marinette gasped and looked at alya.
Then they laughed.

What is with you gurl? Alya asked her.

Oh nothing,Just my usual morning. marinetted sighed with a smile.

After 5 periods it was finally lunch time

Marinette sat with alya as they ate their lunch on the bench.

Adrien and nino walked toward the girls.

As soon as Marinette saw them walking towards them she panicked.

Alya felt her friend shiver in nervousness.

Relax gurl,you got this. Her friend confronted her.

Hey alya. Nino waved at his true love.

Hey Marinette. Adrien greeted Marinette,

Marinette froze.

Say something! Alya whispered to her ear while nibbling on her sandwich.

Uhh,,Adrien! Wassup! I mean- hey!-I mean hi! Marinette stammered.

Adrien laughed.

Mind if I sat with you? Then he looked at nino,and then alya.

Er-both of you? Adrien asked.

Oh,no worries adrien. Here sit down. Me and nino will just get a drink at the cafeteria. Alya replied.

Marinette secretly gave alya a WHAT ARE YOU DOING look.

Alya winked.

Adrien sat down.

Um,hey-baedrien-I mean adrien! Hehe...Marinette shyly looked at him.

Soo...uhh..why did you go here? I mean- it's not a problem but-

Before she could continue Chloé grabbed Adrien and patted him up.

What are you doing with him?chloé gave her a cold disgusted face.

It's okay chloé I was the one who-adrien was shushed

Chloé put her finger on the lips of Adrien. Shush now. C'mon let's go,before Marinette gives you her poor bacteria.chloé scolded.

And so they left.

Alya came back and saw Marinette with her hands on her face.

What happened girl? Alya asked her.

That stupid chloé snatched Adrien from me. She whimped.

Language Marinette! Besides.we need to get to class now,lunch is over. Alya said as she grabbed her toward their classroom.

Finally, school was over.

Marinette waved goodbye to alya as she headed home. She had homework,and a lot of it. Who knew senior high would be harder than high school? She immediately remembered her patrol with Chatnoir later. She rushed to her room and began to study.
