An Interview (Part 1)

We're lying in my bunk when Alyssa rolls over and faces me, she's still asleep. I look at my phone, 7am. I get up and start to get ready.

We have our first interview since we told people about the marriage. I'm kinda nervous and I know Alyssa definitely is. I grab my clothes and head to the small bathroom and change. I walk out and I find Alyssa and Jonah on the couch talking away.

"Good morning sleepy head." I say at the sight. "How is your head?"

"Better, actually." She says looking at me with a smile on her face.

"Damn, She is so beautiful without any makeup on." I think.

"What are you two talking about?" I ask sitting down next to Alyssa.

"About the interview today." Jonah says taking a sip of his coffee.

"Yeah, just giving me some pointers." She says.

"I'm gonna go get cleaned up. Can you guys go wake up the boys?" Jonah asks standing up. We nod and Jonah goes to the bathroom.

"Do you know what I have?" Alyssa asked me with a grin.

"What?"

"An air horn."

"Oh hell yes!" I say. We get up and I follow her to where she kept it. We pull it up close to Jack's head and she presses it.

"WHAT THE FU-" Jack yells as he sits up and hits his head on the bunk. "Shit!"

Me and Alyssa start laughing. Corbyn sticks his head out of his bunk with a questioning look. Zach laughs too. The bus comes to a stop and I immediately grab Alyssa as she begins to fall.

"It's been three days, and your getting pretty good at this!" She says.

"I didn't want you to hit your head again." I say laughing. I hold her and I look into her eyes.

"So, you gonna let me stand?" She asks me.

"Oh, y-yeah." I say as I let her go. Jonah walks out of the bathroom.

"I'm gonna go get ready." She says.

"Yeah."

She disappears into the bathroom and I groan and put my head in my hands. The boys start laughing.

"What the hell did I miss?" Jonah says.

"The most fucking akward thing to have ever happen." Jack says laughing. "It's makes up for you waking me up!" He gets out of his bunk and pats me on the bunk.

Corbyn follows Jack. "Daniel, you just made my day."

Zach is about to say something but I cut him off, "Zach, please do remember that I am older than you. Think about your words very carefully." I warn him.

"Um, I'm just gonna..." Zach then proceeds to run off.

Jonah laughs. "What the hell happened to make you threaten baby little innocent Zach?"

I fill him in on what happened. Just then Alyssa walks out of the bathroom.

"Do I look okay? I was going to braid my hair, but I tried that and I started bleeding.." she starts.

"You started bleeding? Are you okay?" I rushed to her side and start pulling her hair up and inspect her stitches.

"Yes, I'm fine." She laughed pushing my hands away.

"So, I'm gonna get off the bus and stretch my legs." Jonah says shuffling his way past us.

We both laugh. We get off the bus and head into the area where we are to have to have the interview. We are greeted by some nice people and we wait for it to start.
