I'm laying down on the couch in my shared apartment with my two best friends, Grace and Marilynn. I'm scrolling through Pinterest when my phone begins to ring. I answer it.
"Hello, is this Alyssa Avery?" I hear a voice say on the other end of the line.
"This is she." I reply sitting up. Grace walks into the room giving me a look of confusion.
"Well congratulations Alyssa! We have found you a match!"
My jaw drops, "Oh my god, seriously?!" Grace now sitting beside me.
"Yes! You will be getting married in 10 days I believe. We will send you an email with everything you need to know."
"Of course, thank you so much!" I say
"Your welcome! And congratulations again!"
The call ends and I scream.
"Did they find you a match??" She asks.
"YES! AND I AM GETTING MARRIED IN 10 DAYS!!"
"OH MY GOD!" She stands up, "hold on." She turns to our Alexa, "Alexa play 'Come to Brazil' by 'Why Don't We'." The music begins to play and we start dancing.
Marilynn walks in, pulls her phone out and begins to record us.
"What in the hell are you doing?" She asks laughing, the camera focused on us dancing around the room.
"ALLIE'S GETTING MARRIED!" Grace screams over the music.
"OH MY GOD!" She runs over to me and pulls the three of us into a group hug and all three of us start dancing.
