He's in Love

"Hello?" I answer my phone.

"Hey Danny!" I hear Allie's cheerful voice.

"Hey honey! What are you doing?" I ask.

"Did you check twitter this morning?' She asks.

"No," I start. I head to my computer. "I'm pulling it up now."

One of the titles was, "Alyssa Seavey trampled at Phoenix airport".

"What the hell?" I say, "What happened? Are you okay?"

"I'm fine, but did you see the title under that one?" She questions.

I go back and see, "Daniel Seavey and his new wife buy a home in LA."

"Well shit." I mumble into the phone.

"Yeah." She says.

"Well, I'll be out there later today to help you pack." I tell her.

"Alright, see you soon!" She says.

"Bye baby!" I hang up the phone.

"Jesus." I heard Jack say in my door way.

"What?" I question.

"You loooooooooooooooove her." He grins sitting on my bed.

"What? I mean I really like her, but I wouldn't say love. Love is such a big word." I say.

"Ya, sure. Deny it all you want buddy." He says pulling his phone out.

"Deny what?" Corbin said sticking his head in the room.

"The fact that Daniel is in love with Allie." Jack says.

"I am not. It's been three weeks." I say spinning in my rolling chair.

"So? Love works in mysterious ways." Corbin says.

"Shut up." I say.

"Just saying!" He says.

I get the boys out of room and pack a small suitcase. I head down the stairs to find all the boys sitting on the couch with concerned looks.

"What's wrong?" I question.

"Daniel, sit down." Jonah said. I do as I'm told.

"We need to talk." Corbyn says.

"Daniel, in every young man's life there comes a time when you need to face the truth." Jonah says putting his hand on my shoulder.

"What?" I say extremely confused.

"A time when you must the facts of life." Zach says.

"A time when you must stop denying your feelings." Jack chimes in.

"A time when you have to grow a pair." Corbyn says.

"And admit that you are in love with Alyssa." Jonah says.

"Wow, you guys. You really had me worried there." I say standing up. "I thought someone died for second."

Jonah pulls be back down on the couch. "Seriously Daniel. You l-o-v-e her." He spells it out for me.

"It's so damn obvious!" Jack says.

"Just tell her!" They all scream at me.

"Guys, it's been three weeks and if hypothetically did love her, it would be too soon to tell her." I argue.

"HE SAID HYPOTHETICALLY! AND EVERYONE KNOWS WHEN THEY GIVE HYPOTHETICAL SITUATIONS THAT MEANS IT'S REAL!!" Zach stood up screaming.

Jack's eyes grow wide and he stands up and says, "DANNY BOI IS IN LOVE!"

I put my head in my hands and groan. I smile so they can't see. "Shit." I think to myself.

"He's in love!" Corbyn sings, he jumps up and stands on the couch.

"He's in love!" Jonah joins in and copies him.

"Plain to see!" Corbyn starts dancing with Jonah.

"No mistake!" Zach starts dancing in place as he sings.

"No mistake!" Jack sings back to Zach.

"Look at those moonbeams in his wake!" Zach sings out

"Obvious what they must be symptoms of-"Corbyn belts.

"He's in love! He's in love! He's in love! He's in love! Yeah! Yeah!" The boys sing together.

I clap at the performance and grin.

"Broadway version of 'The Little Mermaid'." Corbyn says. "Alyssa sent me that song, it's called "She's in love."

"Of course she sent it to you." I say. "Wait, when did she send you that?" I ask looking up at him.

"Last night, why-?" Corbyn says, then his face switches to shock and realizes something. 'HOLY CRAP!"

"I'm lost." Jack says.

"Yeah, wanna fill us in?" Zach says.

"Alyssa sent me a song called 'She's in Love'." Corbyn looks at them, they still look confused. "The song was called 'She's in Love!" he yells at them.

"IT'S IN THE NAME OF THE SONG!" Jonah yells out them. It takes a second more and then Jack's face lights up as he realizes what it meant.

"OH MY GOD!" he starts freaking out.

"I'm still confused." Zach says.

"ALYSSA IS IN LOVE WITH DANIEL!" Jack says shaking Zach.

"OH!" Zach screams. We all start dancing around the room. Jonah starts playing Alyssa's song and we sing along.

"Watching you, walk around the room." I sing along with Alyssa's voice. "I am dazed, confused and lost."

"But then you walked into my heart, and suddenly I am found." Jack joins me, singing a cute harmony.

"It's only been two weeks, and I'm already in L-O-V-E." Jonah sings along with his part.

"I had nothing and no one. Then you showed up." Jack joins him with a cute harmony again.

"I bite my tongue when your around, I'm too scared to tell you." Corbyn sings his part.

"How I feel." We all sing along with our voices as a whole.

We keep singing with the song and once it's over we collapse on the couch.

"How do I tell her?" I say breathless.

"Just tell her." Jonah says.

"No! You should sing her a song and then tell her!" Corbyn says.

"Make her dinner, then sing her a song, then tell her you love her." Jack says.

"Take her to Paris!" Zach says. The boys and I turn our heads to look at him and give him a look. "What?"

We all laugh.

"Shit! We gotta get you to the airport!' Jonah says checking his phone. He stands up and grabs his keys. "Let's go! We can talk more in the car!"

I grab my bag and we all head out to the car. Jack puts my bag in the trunk as I get into the passenger seat. Jonah drives, Jack sits behind Jonah, Zach in the middle and Corbyn behind me. I put my head back on the seat and sighed.

"Damn, what a day." I say under my breathe and smile.
