Married at First Sight (Daniel Seavey)

The Reception (Part 1)

"The boys? You mean Jonah, Jack, Corbyn and Zach?" I say.

"Yeah...Do you wanna sit down?" He asks. "You look a bit pale."

"Yeah..." I say. He helps me to a chair and I sit down.

"Let me get you some water." He says. He disappeared for a moment then came back with a cup of water. "Here."

"Thank you." I say taking it from him. I take a sip.

"This is probably a lot." He says. "Some fans can't even speak when they meet us. I can't even imagine how your feeling right now."

I laugh. "I am in shock, excited and still thinking this is a dream."

He laughs too. He sits in the chair next to me. Then the door opens and I hear the squeals of excitement from Marylinn and Grace.

"ALLIE!" I hear one of them yell. They break into a run then notice Daniel sitting next me and stop running and start walking at a face pace. I laugh.

"Hi Daniel." Grace says.

"Hi." He says. The doors open more and everyone starts filling in the room. "We should probably sit on our place." He states.

"Yeah." I stand up and me and Daniel head over to our little table for the two of us. Music starts and everyone finds a place to sit. Our parents at a slightly bigger table for the four of them. The groomsmen and bridesmaids sit together and everyone else sits where they wish with at least 2 family members or friends from each side.

Camera after camera came in. I did something, I don't know what, but he knew that I was nervous. He places his hand on mine and said "don't be worried. Just think of this as a first date, but our entire family and friends are setting us up and are about to embarrass the crap out of us."

I laugh. "That's What this feels like already." We both are laughing at this point.

The boys walk up to the microphone and I take a deep breathe in. "Hi, we are Daniel's friends, brothers and partners in crime. But that's changed today. I'm Jack."

"I'm Zach."

"I'm Jonah."

"And I'm Corbyn."

"Daniel has a new partner in crime, Alyssa. I know you two have just met. But from what I've heard from your family and friends Alyssa. I think you two will get along really well." Jack continued.

"I hear that you write music? Is that true?" Zach asks me. I nod. "Daniel, you found a keeper." He says.

The boys continue with their speech and embarrass him. His parents went as well as his siblings. Some of his other friends speak too.

But then Grace goes up and gives me a devilish grin.
