Luna POV:

Finally opening the door to my apartment, I shuffled in and dropped the boxes on the floor. Taking in the apartment around me, a feeling of warmth spread over my body and a wide grin took place of my previous moment of embarrassment. The brick walls providing a sense of comfort, along with the large bay windows made me feel like I had finally found my dream home. This was my place.

After several hours of trekking between my truck and the apartment, I was finally stacking the last of my books onto the bookshelf in the lounge room. Sinking into my soft lounge, I couldn't be more grateful to have the apartment fully furnished before I moved in. The thought of having to also move furniture was enough to make me wrinkle my nose with distaste.

After lazing around for a while, I decided to organise something for dinner. As if on queue, my stomach decided to rumble. Throwing on my jacket and boots, I stepped into the elevator and travelled down to the ground floor.

Stepping out into the cold, I was instantly grateful for the small chain of restaurants and cafes along my new street. I decided to venture into a place called the Asian kitchen, a 24 hour take away shop which offered all kinds of soups, stews and hot dishes. Placing my order and collecting it I headed back to my apartment.

Sitting in my kitchen I unpacked my chicken soup and bread. The warmth in my belly was exactly what I needed. Cleaning my leftovers up, I checked the time. Almost midnight. I stretched my aching body and walked into the bathroom. I reached over to the bathtub and turned the hot water on. Adding some bath wash and undressing I slid into the hot water, instantly soothing my sore muscles.

The scent of lotus flower and rose wafting through the bathroom, I closed my eyes and sunk down into the bottom of the tub. Emerging a minute later and closing my eyes, I felt the day catching up on me as exhaustion crept up in waves.

Just as I was on the verge of full relaxation, a very loud and distinct song began to shake the walls around me.
