"What?" I said quietly. He moved forward in his chair, and ran his hand up my thigh. My skin tingled in a hot trail where his fingers were. I squeezed my thighs together to try to stop the ache from between my legs. "Let me take you out on a date" he said simply. He watched me as I considered his proposal. "When?" I said. He smirked, knowing that I meant yes.
"I'd like to take you out on Saturday night. There's a place I want to show you." He said. His hands were still running slow circles on my thighs, I couldn't think, let alone speak, so I nodded my head in agreement.
"Great, I'll pick you up at 8. I know your address" he winked at me. He leant in close and captured my mouth with his. I lost my cool control and wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him closer to me. Pulling away he chuckled and stood up. "That's all I needed from you today Miss Swan, you can get back to your work now." He dismissed me while sitting down informer of his desk.
I stood and started to step but stopped. Turning to him I said "hey, what are you doing tonight?"
He looked up to meet my eyes before giving me a smile. "I have a meeting to get to at 6 but nothing after that. Why do you ask? He replied.
"Some of us are going out for drinks and dancing at the new club the company bought, maybe you'd like to stop by?" I asked.
"I'm not sure when my meeting will end but I'll try to stop by and see you" he replied, a smirk on his lips. "Maybe I'll get to see you dance" he chuckled. Blushing, I exited his office and returned to mine.
Five o'clock came quickly and I raced home to change. After a quick shower, I opened my cupboard to find something to wear. After much deliberation I settled for a pair of black high waisted skinny jeans and an off the shoulder black ruffled shirt. I grabbed a pair oh gold pumps and a long hold chain to match my gold hoop earrings.
By the time I reached the lobby door, Kairi was waiting in her car out the front. Her grin widened when she saw me coming.
"Holy Jesus in heaven girl! You look amazing!" She beamed at me as I climbed in her Honda Civic. I was thankful the inside of her car was heated.
"You look stunning too Kairi!" I grinned back at her. She was wearing a knee length dark blue dress covered in sequins paired with a pair of white kitten heels. Her hair was pulled up in a messy bun.
"I'm so excited to check this place out! I've heard some of the A list celebrities come to party here!" She squealed in excitement. It took us 45 minutes to get downtown and find a park. A group of the event planners were in line and turned to greet us. Jason and Axel were further down in the line.
"Jason! Axel! Hi!" I shouted at him. He turned and waved at me, heading towards the front of the line to meet us, Axel in tow. I turned to Axel to greet him when I noticed he was still in his tracks. Staring at Kairi.
"Axel, this is Kairi, Kairi this is Axel." I said as they shook hands, Axels Cheeks turning pink. Jason turned to me and whispered "I sense hormones in the air" he laughed beside me as I gently elbowed him. We got to the front of the line and the bouncer informed us that our work called ahead to arrange a VIP booth for us, all food and drinks included in the tab for the night. Everyone looks equally as shocked as each other, but instantly I knew who it was. Before I could say anything, my phone vibrated in my clutch and I pulled it out to see an anonymous number had sent me a message.
UNKNOWN: enjoy yourself tonight on me. I'll try to swing past if I have time. Don't drink too much. - Tanner.
My heart was beating wildly out of my chest when Jason reached over and read the message as well.
"Oh my god y'all! Mr Black arranged this for us! Best boss ever!" He yelled, everyone cheering in tow.
