Stepping into the office for the second time, I was nervous. The only other time I had been here was for my initial interview. I walked up to the reception desk and smiled as Kairi greeted me.

"Good morning Luna! I'm so happy you got the job!" She said. Kairi was stunning. Shoulder length curled to perfection caramel and blonde hair with legs for days and curves in all the right places. Her bright blue eyes and Perfectly symmetrical face made me envious. I wished I could look half as good as she did. Standing up I saw her outfit; she was wearing a black dress and blue blazer, paired with some black heels, she was every mans dream girl.

I on the other hand was wearing a pair of high waisted navy pants with a button up long sleeved red blouse, my hair pulled into a high pony. "Me too, I can't wait to get started" I smiled back at her.

"Let me take you to your office, each member of our event team gets their own office for planning and meetings with potential clients" she said, sashaying down the walkway attracting the attention of several men and women.

My office was perfect. Bright and light, some shelving to the side on the wall and a large screen in the middle of my desk. Some plants helped add a natural feel and brought some colour into the room.

"I'll leave you to it!" Kairi said. Before she took off she turned and said "Oh I almost forgot to mention! We are having a staff meeting this afternoon at 2pm to meet with our new CEO. He has asked to meet our senior team so he can get to know everyone while the deal settles. His office will be up on the top floor" she smiled.

"No worries, I'll be there" I waved to her as she turned to head back to her station. I began to set up my stationary and planning books when a knock interrupted me. I looked up to see a smiling Axel in the doorway.

"I knew it wouldn't take me long to find you, I just had to head towards where the angels were singing" his grin widened as he walked forward.

"Ha-ha. Hi Axel, how are you today?" I smiled back at him. He was wearing a suit today, light grey with a grey vest, white button up shirt and navy blue tie. He looked gorgeous.

"I'm better now I'm taking to you" he chuckled when I rolled my eyes. "Jason and I are heading out to grab lunch at 1:30, I wanted to see if you could join us?" He smiled.

"I'd love to but I can't today, there's a big meeting at 2pm and I have to be there to meet the new CEO" I said, feeling sad at missing the chance to spend some more time with him.

"Oh yeah, I met Mr. Black this morning at the finance meeting. Seems like a really nice guy, had some awesome ideas to take the company through to the next level" he beamed.

I felt relief wash over me, having a boss who wanted to achieve big things was going to help me develop my personal portfolio.

"Well I can see you're busy here, I'll leave you to it!" He waved as he left and I continued to arrange my things.

2pm rolled around very quickly and the whole team had assembled into the board room. I met all eleven of the other event planners, who seemed very friendly. Kairi came to sit beside me and whispered to me "I heard a rumour from finance that our new boss is extremely handsome". I turned to her and said "well he'd better be careful with you around, you might end up marrying him once he sees you!" She silently laughed.

The boardroom doors opened and a few men walked in, I could only assume were from the HR department as they passed out some information booklets explaining to everyone of the changeover procedures worked.

I was reading through the booklet when suddenly the room went quiet. A tall man walk through the doors in a navy suit and black tie, which clung to his defined body.  I looked up to the face of my new boss, only to be met with piercing dark green eyes.

Oh. Fuck. Me.

"Good afternoon everyone, my name is Tanner Black. I am the new CEO of Global events incorporated, and I look forward to getting to know you all very well" he said, never taking his eyes off mine.
