I returned home to my find Uncle's vomit all over himself and his bed. I sighed as I knew I had to clean it up. I had about five minutes to four, which is when my job really began. I got changed into something less wet and something warmer. I couldn't help but think about Jay. He was so fit!

I returned to the main room, my uncles room and put on some disposable gloves. I sprayed the vomit with anti bacterial before wiping it away. Caring for my uncle was irritating and time consuming. There was no-one left in my family to do it and I had nowhere to live, so he was my only option really.

"Hi... Ca... Llie." My uncle said. He spoke extremely slowly and as he did he dribbled.

"Hi Uncle. Ssh now quickly as I tidy you up." I ordered, sounding as gently as I could. I collected all the vomit into a bag before wiping everything down with a flannel. I should of really changed the covers, but I was tired and couldn't be bothered. I had lots of homework to catch up on, I could not afford a detention at all.

"How was your day Terry?" I asked, sounding intrested and jolly.

"I.. Vo.. Mitted.. On.. My.. Co.. Vers.. Today." he spoke. His speech slurred.

"Yeah I know. I'm cleaning it up now."

"How... Was... Your... Day.. At... Sch... Ool." He spoke.

"Yeah it was Ok thanks. One minute, I'll just go put this in the bin." I picked up the bag I had scraped his vomit into and placed it in the bin. Thankfully I was done. I took of my gloves and chucked them in the bin too, before washing my hands vigerously.

Ahh, finally time for homework I thought. Then there was a knock at the door. Who could it be? I groaned as I put my book back to the side.

I opened the door. Could anyone guess who it could have been? Well, I'm going to tell you. It was Jay. What was he doing here!?

"Jay!" I screamed, closing the door behind me because I didn't want him to see my uncle.

"Callie? What are you doing here?" He asked.

"I could ask you the same thing." I replied.

"Oh." he said. "Well you left your necklace in the toilet."

"I didn't wear a necklace." I stated.

"I know. That's why I brought you one." I smiled at his kindness.

"Aww." I said, sounding enthusiastic. "Why? You didn't have to."

"Just to say sorry for earlier."

"But I said your forgiven."

"I know. But I wanted to make it up to you."

I smiled. How cute! I thought I was falling for him, but I would never admit it. If he really wanted me, then I'd play hard to get. That's the thing you're meant to do, right?

"Anyway, why are you here?" he asked.

"I live-" I realised it was a special home. I couldn't say my uncle lived here because he'd think things I wouldn't want him to.

"Its a job. I have to look after people here." I lied. I felt bad not telling him it was where I live and that I ha to look after my uncle. I just hoped he didn't hear.

"Oh ok."

"How did you even get here?" I asked.

"I followed you. Then I asked the nurse what room I could find you in."

"wait, what!? You followed me!?"

"I had to know where to give you the necklace."

"That still gives you no right!" I shouted. I calmed down. "Sorry, it's just that... I don't really like people knowing my business."

"I understand." he said. A boy who's fit, nice and understands me. All one package. Mmm.

"So, I'll be on my way. See you tommorow. Enjoy the necklace." he winked at me. I wasn't sure if we were going to hug or hand shake or anything, so we just did nothing. He grinned at me and I did the same. I closed the door.

As I walked back up to my room, my uncle called me.

"Callie!"

"Yeah Terry?"

"I... Heard... What... You... Said. Are... You... Ash... Amed... Of... Me?" oh crap.
