Heyyyy :)
Happy new year everyone!
Okay so as the "new year" special (lol) this part is going to be reallyyyy dramatic (hopefully)
Some people might think its just random but lol whateverrr.
I had something totally different planned but I'm going to use this plan :) & if I stick to my plans when I'm writing (i usually don't -_- lol) then you'll find out a lot more about the character you probably all hate right now :)

Me and Danielle continued to talk on the pavement for a while. The cold air nipped at the warmth leaving my bottom, but I didn't mind. Danielle was my bestfriend and I was planning on staying with her no matter what.
"Who's Nacan?" I repeated, after she had gulped as an answer when I asked her before.
"I'm ashamed to say anything," Danielle admitted, truthfully. I took a deep breathe in, not knowing what to reply to that. Do I force her to tell me? Or do I leave it for now and let her tell me when she's ready?
"Um," I started, gathering words in my mind. I really didn't know what to say. "Well, uh," I rambled.
Danielle let out a small giggle. "You don't need to worry. I'll tell you when I'm ready." I let out a small sigh of releif. That saved me. I wasn't sure if I should still be worried. I mean, this person or people or thing had clearly made Danielle scared, and when Danielle was scared, everyone should be scared. I tried to push that thought out of my mind, she'll tell me when she's ready. Why am I making a fuss about this?
Wanting to change the subject, I said, "So, how did you like the dance?"
"What you mean the ten minutes I got of it?"
"Um, well-" I instantly regretted talking about the dance. It bought recent but bad memories back.
"I'm sorry I ruined it for you,"
"We're not getting back to this are we?" I asked, rolling my eyes. "It's fine! Forget it!"
Danielle let out a weary smile, and I returned it with a half one. We both sat there in awkwardness, watching people pass by and give us funny looks.
The ground seemed to get colder as I tried to explore my mind to think of something to say. This moment was just too precious to ruin it with something awkward. It had never been this awkward between us before, so both us didn't know what to do. We sat there, soaked in our awkwardness.
Breaking the silence, I heard footsteps in a distance. I let out a small sigh of releif, leaving the silence for someone else to break. For some stupid reason, I continued to sit there and wait for whoever it was to reveal thereself. I turned to look at Danielle, who was watching me with the same expression.
"Should we, uh..."
"Stay?" Danielle asked, finishing off my sentence, even though that's not what I was going to suggest. "Yeah."
We waited a few more seconds for the person to reveal themselves. Something in my gut told me to just go, but I ignored it. I had been ignoring it a lot lately. I wish I had listened to my gut when the person revealed themself. I rolled my eyes when it was clear who it was, getting up.
"Dan, can we-"
"Callie!" Jay called after me, as I was pushing Danielle up to her feet. He got closer, which made me more uncomfortable. Ignoring his calls, I said, "Danielle can we go please? It's getting cold."
